My friend is being thrown a gender reveal party today for her second baby. I'm sure this will be in lieu of a shower so I'd like to bring a gift to this party to help celebrate her upcoming baby.
What should I bring for a mom who has almost everything? It's hard since I can't buy clothes since we don't know gender until later today.

We didn't have a gender reveal party but my sister got me an ultrasound photo frame which was really sweet.

Diapers or a gc? Maybe a blanket or something that you buy in both pink and blue and return the one you don't give? (To add to the reveal excitement) I actually wouldn't have minded getting some blankets especially since it turned out we had a different gender, and all I had were mostly a&a blankets covered in pink!

Agree with @2littlepumpkins: If it isn't too much hassle, why not pick a gender-specific toy/blanket/outfit appropriate to each sex, then return the one you don't give?

Bibs? Bath stuff? MedicaL stuff like gas drops, ibuprofen, teething tablets, vapor rub, thermometer. Plus GC.

I would get something gender specific but get one for each gender. Then after they do the reveal, you can give the gender appropriate gift and just return the other one. I think it would go nicely with the excitement of a gender reveal to get something specific to the revealed gender .

Thanks guys! I ended up buying outfits for both genders and wrapping them up separately. She's having a girl so I'll keep the boy gift for another time.
