Lol, I'm trying to find some since I am having a baby!

Seeing photos of newborns gives me baby fever. Also looking at newborn clothes.

At gymnastics this weekend there was a woman there with a baby who couldn't have been more than a week old, and I desperately wanted to hold her. Total baby fever. What got rid of it was remembering that my husband has had a vasectomy, which he did because we had a serious chat when I was NOT in the throes of baby fever about paying for a third baby, buying a minivan, taking another year off work for mat leave, starting from scratch re: simplicity of traveling, etc, and decided that a third baby doesn't make sense.

My biggest thing is thinking about them as adults. I dont want any more kids to have to support through high school, adolescence and beyond.

Squishy babies cause it, the memory of morning sickness and not sleeping at night quickly scares it away.

Everything gives my baby fever and I haven't found a cure yet. We have one LO and are still debating if we will have a second (and when we would try if we decide to go for it). It's basically all I can think about.

Newborns, pregnancy announcements, looking at old pictures of my son....a bad night of sleep helps, though, and that seems to be happening more often lately

Seeing tiny newborn twins all snuggled up together. Which is weird because a) my twins hated being snuggled together and screamed when they were near each other when they were tiny and b) I would never want to actually have another set of twins.

I get rid of the baby fever any time I am actually around a newborn. I'm sort of afraid of holding them and it's always awkward handing a tiny baby back to its parents, or receiving it from its parents. Like it's the most delicate football ever. I had two babies of my own, but I still feel awkward holding someone else's baby!

Oddly I've had it lately. @littlejoy is halfway along with her second, one of my Match 15 moms got a and I just met my friends 3 month old.

We are planning a big trip to Europe next spring without our DD- that's more important to me right now than TTC.

Seeing people wearing tiny babies.

And 12 months of IF.

But I got a BFP on Friday so maybe it will stick.

Also, I am terrified of having another newborn. The sleep deprivation nearly killed me the first time. But I love toddlers! I want another cuddlebug!

@mfa_lady: Everything about pregnancy seems that way to me. Me not pregnant: "Cute bump, aww I want baby kicks again!" Me pregnant: "I can't wait for this baby to be an outside baby."

I'm pretty sure nothing makes my baby fever go away.
NBs crying even makes me want another one. I understand Michelle Duggar. I love being pregnant and having babies. It's not healthy.

Seeing NBs and thinking about DS as a little smooshy baby give me baby fever. A wave of nausea makes me feel that I'm done after this pregnancy. That and the obsessive worrying about M/C, birth defects, and finances.

Seeing pregnant women gives me baby fever! I just think pregnant ladies are the cutest.

Seeing tiny squishy babies in public too.

Babies older than a month or two don't give me the fever though. I'm not really into other people's babies past the very newborn stage.

We're about to TTC so not much makes the baby fever really go away though. I will savor a glass of wine and sleeping through the night from now until I get pregnant though.

When DD is put in the infant room at daycare when they are short staffed and I see six little babies all at once.... I get baby fever bad.

There is a program at work I applied for that is a huge opportunity. It is a year long starting in May. That gets rid of baby fever since I couldn't be pregnant and in the program.

My 9.5 month old DS has cured me of all baby fever for now. It's been a rough first year with him. I'm hoping to one day have baby fever again since we are planning on having a third.

I have a weird trigger for baby fever - any show that I binged in the first few months. OITNB, Parenthood, The Affair. When I watch them I get really nostalgic for that period of time - which is weird because I had PPD and was actually quite miserable. But those shows remind me of when the apartment was all quiet and he would sleep next to me and eventually in his room and it was just really nice. Prob makes me sound really weird.
Also looking at nurseries.
Oddly, maternity clothes. I really enjoyed being pregnant.
The first pic when my friends have their babies. That initial skin to skin pic. I never got skin to skin after he was born (went to nicu) so I yearn for that opportunity.

ETA: oh as for what makes it go away - in the rare occasion my son wakes at night I'm like "nope. I like sttn way to much". Also just the ease of going out with him now - no diaper bags or bottles or car seats and now even stroller isn't necessary. For me being out with a newborn was extremely stressful. So when I travel with him or we even just go to dinner I'm like "yeah I'm good".

Of course we're doing another round of IVF now so I guess whether I have baby fever or not doesn't matter. Just going for it and hoping for the best.

I get baby fever when I see beautiful pregnant ladies and when the conversation turns to birth stories. It's such an exciting time, full of so much promise and hope. I also get it when I think of baby names I like! The thing that halts it is thinking about how, in the next few years, things are going to gradually get better and better - my youngest will start STTN consistently, we will have to pay for less childcare, we might start getting date nights.... why would I want to reset the clock on that?

I have had such awful baby fever for so long. Anything baby-related caused a flare up! I'm hoping the babe I'm currently baking will calm things down for a long while

@Purpledaisy: it's crazy how different they all are! Hang in there.
I had one classic baby, one easy baby (well the first ten weeks were pretty bad), and I really don't want to try my luck with a third.
