I eat the food my LO spits out. She'll take a bite of something and if she doesn't like it, she'll spit it out into my hand and I'll just pop it in my mouth. It's just easier to do that than to get up and toss it away. It's so gross and my brother saw me do this once and said, "You are SO disgusting. I don't care that you birthed her out of your hooha...That is just gross." And he seriously turned green.

I pick boogies. Sometimes using my pinky nail is SO much easier than a tissue/bulb/etc.

All of the above, although he really hates it when I pick his nose...but he also hates anything getting near his nose and it goes much faster if I just do it.
I clean off his pacifier by popping it in my mouth. I know it's a big no-no, but it's so much easier than getting up to wash it off when it's fallen on the ground.

yeah totally pick his boogers too... I find it disgusting when others pick their LOs boogers but for some reason his don't bother me.
@winniebee: ugh I hate that too... so gross. I can usually smell it just fine without my nose to his butt hahaha.
When he drops or throws his paci on the floor, I pick it up - suck it off and then give it back to him.

I chew up ground beef for her after she gagged on it a few times. It really seemed to help to have me pre-chew it for her.

Same as everyone else with the boogies. And I will wipe spit up with my hand. DH freaks out and starts yelling "spit up! where's the burp cloth?" I just reach over and wipe off LO's face. Oh and LO totally drool and snot bombs me all the time, he will crawl over to me and then bury his head and my shirt. I can't get dressed for work until he's in his carseat.

I am a reformed baby booger picker. A light pinch down the nose with a tissue gets them out really well!

I pick his boogers and I pick at flaky parts of his skin while he's nursing (just if it's loose and won't make him bleed). "Clip" his fingernails with my teeth. I know it's necessary but it grosses me out - cleaning the accumulated dry skin and whatever from the underside of his pee pee.

@littlek: When I can tell my LO is about to spit I purposely catch it with my hand. Much easier than letting it get all over her/the floor and having to clean it up. It makes my husband gag.

I booger pick, I earwax pick (if I can see it from just looking at her), and of course touch things w/ her spit up and poop all over it (how can a mom not?) and yesterday I did something I reeeeally hoped to avoid, took a rectal temperature!

Pick boogies (DH hates this), do the bum smell check, Lick my finger to get smudges gone, and most disgusting we had to put a kleenex in her diaper to make sure she was still peeing (checking for dehydration), I couldn't tell if it was wet or not so I sniffed it to see if it smelled like urine...I thought my DH was going to vomit.

I HATE to see boogers in H's nose! I totally pick them! And a few times I've even wiped them on my pj pants or something if I wasnt able to physically get my hands on anything else! Sometimes, I'm just trying to survive and things just go down the way they go down!

I did a new one for me this afternoon, although not on purpose. I was on the phone with my mom, DD in my lap, and I looked down and realized I had a little poop on my hand from her messy diaper change a little while ago. I observed this aloud to my mom, who cracked up. I continued sitting and talking, and didn't go wash it off until I was getting up anyway. (Rationalization: it's newborn poop! Not the same!) Really: ew. EW.
