I'm excited for a dinner out with DH for VDay, though we're not all 100% about the holiday. It's a nice excuse for a date night.
Then I'm excited for egg hunt at ILs for Easter!

Chinese New Year!!!
It's big in my family!
We're taking 2 days off and spending a four day weekend in NYC with my family. It'll be the first time LO gets to celebrate with my family bc last year we got snowed in. So I'm so excited for her to experience Chinese New Year and to see the big festival in Chinatown! It's super important to me she knows about her culture! -
My Bday (2/12) and Vday (2/14) because I'm getting LASIK on the day between!!!!! So no fancy date nights out.... but I'll be getting CLEAR VISION... WOOHOOO!!!

Valentines cause it will be R's last 1st Holiday and she has a super cute dress to wear. She will be rocking hearts, red, and pink all week.

Easter. My birthday is Valentine's Day. We stopped celebrating Valentine's Day in general because it's my birthday, two holidays too many. I don't plan on taking a day off on it after my disastrous day off recently. I've always loved Easter though. This year should be a lot of fun with LO walking. He's going to have a lot of fun with his cousins during the Easter egg hunt.

@locavore_mama: Yes!! I'm going home as well. This is the ONLY holiday where friends and family from near and far "come home" and it's not even required! I can't wait to dress DS up in his Chinese outfit and enjoy all the delicious food.

I guess Valentines day. I got a really cute Snoopy coffee set to use/decorate with on sale. And I got a really great deal on a Michael Kors watch for DH. Not sure what we will do to celebrate.

Valentine's Day... I love all things hearts. Cheesy, I know. But I decorate my office window with them and bake treats for my co-workers and DH's co-workers. Everyone needs a little love on V-Day.
