One of my favorite things my husband does for me is to create beautiful little bouquets of flowers from our yard and put them on my bedside table. He also plants wildflowers that I love.

The way he is with E does me in. So tender and loving. And he sends me photos of them hanging out when I'm not there. He brings me flowers and is always the first to remind me to take care of myself (taking the baby so I can sleep in, telling me he's "got it" so I can run whatever errand I need, pushing me out the door to work out sans guilt). He thanks me for the things I do for E and him and the house.

My husband wakes me up every morning as he's leaving for work by rubbing my back and telling me that he loves me. That's my favorite thing because I know that no matter what happens, the last thing we say to each other before we part ways for the day is "I love you." Um, that sounds morbid. But still, I love it!

Most of the time by the end of the day I've been overwhelmed by physical contact and I don't even think about cuddling. Eventually DH will ask me to cuddle and it's just so sweet that I can't resist!

He is the best at thoughtful little surprises when I least expect them. My favorite coffee and a pumpkin donut, a gift card for a pedicure, a shirt from my alma mater when football season starts, etc. He is a hardcore budgeter, so that makes it an even bigger deal - he uses his fun money to buy them. it makes me wish I was better at little surprises like that!

He makes the coffee every night and adjusts the strength of it based on what he thinks I'll need in the morning. Like if the kids wake a bunch overnight, he'll add an extra scoop to the coffemaker at 2:30 am on our way back to bed.
And he's started cooking big batches of meat and veggies over the weekend so it's easier for me to feed the kids during the day, and to make dinners together faster and easier.
He's not a gushy romantic guy, but he's just so darn good at taking care of us all in little practical ways.

Sometimes as part of my Christmas present. he goes to the bulk candy store and uses the tongs to pick as many red Sour Patch Kids as be can before the clerks start giving him the evil eye. It sounds silly, but it always reminds me that he loves me and all my weird quirks, like only eating one color of a certain kind of candy.

the day before our wedding, my husband surprised me at work and brought me a giant poster he made filled with reasons why he loves me. then at the end he said that he thanks God everyday that He would allow him to marry the best of His creation.
it made all the girls at work cry! i hung it above my desk so that i can read it when i'm having a bad day.
