Reading! My husband isn't a reader.

Also photography. He likes that I do it, but he can't really get into it. Although to his credit, he is a good student when I try to teach him and he actually can use my DSLR better than most people I hand it to.

For my husband, he is into music and sports big time. I couldn't care less about either.

Historical Drama/TV Shows and music trivia.

Shopping. Home decorating. Comparison shopping.

His interests I don't care for include: world war facts and trivia, war movies, planes, tanks, death metal, picking elbows.

I'm way more into reading than he is-- he will read for fun, but it's really rare. Pre-baby I always had a book I was into. Need to get back in the habit! I also am much more into cooking-- he will make a few things but doesn't really care. He will happily eat anything I want to cook though.

For him- golf. Golf golf golf. Blegh. It's a constant source of stress between us because playing a round takes up pretty much the whole weekend day, even though he claims it's only a few hours. I'm home alone with the baby all week and would prefer family time or me time on the weekends. The compromise is still a work in progress but we are both trying. He's also interesting in sports in general, which I'm really not.

Shopping and ballet/musical theater. But we made a deal early in our relationship that I'll go to sporting events with him and he'll go to things like the ballet and Broadway shows with me b/c we want to support what the other really likes. It's opened both of us up to new worlds. But I still need to tell him when it's time for him to buy some new clothes.

Research. I LOVEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE it, he....not so much, unless it's directly related to a project he's working on. but all the travel planning and household decisions he leaves to me to research (woohoo!)

@yoursilverlining: Hah! This! I'm the researcher in our relationship, and he is totally happy with it! He hates looking things up.

He also is not that into traveling or food....and by that I mean he's not a foodie. He LOVES to eat, he just isn't into like... new restaurants, exotic foods, etc. I haaate it. I would die a happy woman if he would take me to a restaurant where the food isn't covered in cheese.

I would also die of shock if the man ever surprised me with a trip. The only way I can get him to travel is to extensively research (see above) the budget, locale, restaurants, etc. and present him with an itinerary that makes him happy. GRR!!! He has so much fun when we get places, but the thought of planning a trip nearly gives him a panic attack.

Me: Being healthy/clean, reading, crafts, cooking/baking

Him: Fishing, cars, shopping

Travel and the outdoors. I literally need to drag him out of the house at weekends! Can't wait until LO gets older because I need a new travel companion!

Wagon Sr. is super easygoing, a bit of a renaissance man and has so many interests. So I cannot think of a single thing that I'm into and he's not! There are some movies and TV shows he really doesn't like watching with me, but they're not of one genre... there are certain reality shows he's into even more than I am. And he likes all genres of movies. But he does groan if I want to watch Sex and the City or Mean Girls for the millionth time... but I think that's just because he's a man. He has even started to like country music... even listening to albums of artists that I'm not even really into (Toby Keith, Brad Paisley, Lee Brice) because he likes their music.

I guess there are a few things he's not that into, but I'm not into them either... traveling, cooking... we both go in and out of following our sports teams but we're just too busy these days.

There are WAY more things that he's into that I'm totally not... indie music, indie films, poetry, philosophical books, documentaries, scotch, beer, snowboarding, tech gear, the outdoors, cars, photography... the list goes on and on.

DH is not as into reading as I am or choosing outfits that match.
