It's a rough day with my FIL today. Love that he helps to watch S on Mondays, but I really don't love that he thinks he knows better than I do what S needs.

@2PeasinaPod: I work for a small non-profit (we have 18 full and part-time staff), so FMLA doesn't qualify. In the handbook, it says that we are allowed to take 8 weeks of unpaid leave, with an additional 4 weeks at the discretion of our director. I've asked for the full 12 weeks, and the two ladies on maternity leave before (both at the same time of year) were given 12 weeks of leave. So we'll see how it goes.

@2PeasinaPod: Thanks. I'm working on it. Stuff I would let slide years ago are now not. So, if he's sick enough to need to go to the doctor's office, he can call. I even made it a chore on chorewars for points-incentive enough!
