You can only pick one, no ties! What would you say is the best show of all time?

@regberadaisy: Oh my goodness that show ripped my heart out, stomped on it, put it in a blender, and drank it for breakfast! I am still recovering from that show, lol

The Cosby Show...I'm channeling my childhood. This was a pretty tough choice, though.
@highwire: I thought I was the only one who couldn't get into that show.

@Mrs. Superhero: The Classic or the new series?
ETA: I'd answer but I can't choose between Doctor Who, Six Feet Under, The West Wing or Community.

@mrsjazz: I feel like I could have if I had taken the time to focus at the beginning, but it is definitely not a show that you can watch and Hellobee at the same time, or do anything besides pay perfect attention to catch all of the nuances. DH loved it so much he started plowing through episodes and now he's on the 4th season already, and I have no idea what is going on.

@mrsjazz: The Cosby Show popped in my head, too. Still love it so much.
But I can't pick just one.

@crash806: @Smurfette: @spaniellove: I feel like Lost really got buried under the station's politics. Does that make any sense? There was all of that mess with the writers strike and the big wigs gave them such a hard time that the story was negatively effected. If they could have just spread their wings and written the show the way they wanted, it really would have been a lot better I feel, especially at the end. I really loved the concept and had such high hopes for it, but it got stifled.

The X-Files ... although it did take a sharp turn downhill toward the end.

Friends!!
There is apparently no limit to how many times I can watch the DVDs!

The West Wing... I loved the Aaron Sorkin years, and am a huge fan of whitty banter and quick dialogue in TV

Arrested Development hands down, I've watched in its entirety probably a dozen times and I still laugh every time.

My So-Called Life. I'm still pining for a choker-wearing, long-haired, mumbling Jordan Catalano.

Friends!!!!
@jessiejo17: I still act like I don't know what's coming in the episodes, even though i can recite every single episode.

I can't pick, but DH would say Boy Meets World. We own every season on DVD and he can recite them almost all by heart.

It's too hard to pick just one...
Veronica Mars
Prison Break
Arrested Development
Three very different shows!

The Wire for actual amazing television. But Friends might win for the show I can watch over and over (and over and over) again!

@highwire: @mrsjazz: you guys have to give it another try! It is AMAZING--seriously touches on like every social issue you can imagine.
