@Mrs. High Heels: the article I read said that kids are coming in with such a wide range of abilities that pushing the date up would eliminate some of the disparities. Personally I think it will make things worse because at least getting those kids in school can help them catch up, buy I think some people think that taking the developmental aspect off the table will help? Maybe some early childhood and kindergarten teachers will weigh in?
