It varies day to day, but for the most part the hardest part of our day is from about 4pm-bedtime. I'm anxiously waiting for DH to get home from work (6:15pm), trying to make dinner, entertaining two tired kids, doing baths, etc. I think it's because my patience are dwindling after a full day with two little kids.

My commute is fickle so picking L up on time (or within a reasonable time to get home and make dinner) gives me anxiety.

Everything before noon. Mornings are insane. Once we reach nap time and I can recharge, I'm good.

@Bao: mine is the same as yours. I hit a wall around 5pm where I am just done.

Dinner prep because I'm so tired and don't want to deal. But I'm happy once I'm eating

Usually 6-8:30pm. Once DH gets home, DS is usually off the wall for the rest of the night...

Varies each day..
MWF it's most difficult between 7:30-8:30 when I am trying to juggle nursing Charlotte while making bfast & getting Chloe dressed, then getting both kids out the door on time to drop Chloe off for preschool.
T-th it's difficult because I work, and Charlotte won't take a bottle & won't let anyone but me hold her. If she's awake, I can't work. It's as simple as that

@Bao: Same. It's hard to do anything at 4 because sometimes he eats as early as 5. Then I get a little break when DH gets home, but it's hard filling the time between dinner and a too late bedtime!

Right when we all get home at 6/630. Everyone is starving and cranky, LO wants to spend time together but we have to do chores and prepare dinner, so she melts down.

Same as you. That moment after naps are finished and until DH walks through the door kill me. I am so exhausted by then.

4-6 (when DH gets home most days) --- especially when T does not nap which is like every other day lately. Sesame St FTW.

@travelgirl1: Yep. I look forward to nap time from about 9am on. It's the longest stretch of the day with the kiddos at their most energetic!

4 pm to bedtime. DH doesn't get home until 7:30 so I am completely on my own with meal time, bedtime routines, and just general end of the day crankiness. I usually am flat out of patience by that time of day as well. A 9 month old and a 2 yr kid could wear down the patience of a saint I think!

From 5:15-8. I have to handle daycare pickup, making dinner (usually while watching LO) and convincing her to eat something. It is so draining! If she were a better eater or more independent with playing while I was cooking, it would be way less stressful.

The afternoon countdown until daddy gets home. Especially today when DD is teething and DS just wants to "go somewhere!" It's so tempting to throw them in the car and drive thru Starbucks!
