In October DH took her out of state to see his parents and my stepkids. They were gone for 4 nights. I enjoyed the first couple of nights but I was really missing them by the third night. I don't know if I could do much longer than that!

ETA: Working definitely helped keep my mind off things.

A single night when I had to fly to London for work.

6 hours when dh and I had a date night. Lo is 27 months.

@DillonLion: We're doing the same thing with LO. He's at my parents right now. We left during his nap on Dec. 26th. We've lounged around the past two days and probably will until the first. I can work from home most of the week and might.

To the question: 6 days last Christmas because of a snowstorm. I miss him, but lounging and just being us is nice for a change. I try to not feel guilty about it since we rarely ask them to watch him for extended periods often versus my brother who has my parents watching his kids often.

8 days when she was 7 months old. Dh and I went to the Caribbean and it was wonderful! We've been leaving her with her grandparents for overnight stays about once a month since she was quite young so we were all used to it. I actually find it harder to leave her as she gets older !

I haven't done an overnight away from her yet. The longest was a wedding-- about 8 hours I think?

I've been away 5 days for vacation and several three day trips for work. 5 days was too long for me but I try not to feel too guilty since we conceived #2 on that trip.

When they were 10 weeks old we left them for 24 hours to go to an out of town wedding. They are almost 8 months now and since then I haven't left them for more than a few hours. I think the longest was 4 hours while I visited my sister after her twins were born. I cried when I got back to them because I missed them so much!

M and I were separated for hours at a time in a week when he was tiny and I had my gall bladder problems. But since then the longest we've been apart is 4 hours when I went to see a movie.

I've been apart from D for 3 weeks one summer. That was tough.

25 hours and only because she just happened to be spending a random night with my parents when I got a horrible stomach virus and needed to go to the ER. We will probably try to do longer stays here in a few months since I'll be giving birth to her sister IN April!

9 or 10 hours when I was shooting a wedding. I was glad I was working because I was really too busy to think about missing her much. Although I really hated that I came home after bed time. I was actually pretty happy for her first wakeup that night because I missed her and wanted to hold her!

Five days when Dh and I took a trip to DR when ds was 18 months. We've done one night overnights several times before and since then.

About six hours is about the max we've been apart but I'm really hoping that DH and I can get away for a night or two before Squish comes along at the end of March. We moved away from family at the beginning of 2014 (LO was 15 months old) so we really haven't had any opportunities to get away for any length if time.
