Is is just a few hours, business hours or have you actually had to travel and leave your LO at home?

When she was a month old we had a bachelorette party for my sister so I couldn't miss it. It was from noon to 7ish. That's the longest I've left her. Hubby and I will go on dates, but just for a couple of hours.

The longest was 8 hours over night. When LO was about 2 months old, she was very colicky and at one point, I hadn't slept in about 1.5 days. The hubs sent me to my parents house to sleep for the night. I reluctantly went but was back home in the morning before LO was up. I missed her!

It was about 36-48 hours because I travelled across the country to attend my grandma's funeral. She was already 2.5 yo at the time. It was tough at first, but went it by quickly.

Longest I've been away has been 4 hours! She only takes breast so I can't get away for any longer

i think the longest is about 3-4 days for business trips. the last one i did was when he was smaller so i don't think he noticed as much. now that he's a toddler i'm curious (and worried) about how he will react.

LO is only 6 weeks so the longest I've been apart from her is 7 hours. My mom watched her when I went for my 1 month post birth doctors appointment and ran some errands.

Overnight once so far, for a wedding in Canada. This weekend will be the second time ever-- for our spa weekend... we're going for 2 nights, but the first night we're leaving after he goes to bed, so it's really just 1.5 full days and 1 night. I will of course miss him and worry, but I cannot WAIT to get away!!!

Work is the longest I've been away. I've left to run errands on the weekends, DH and I have gone on a lunch date, and there were two weekends where I was sick, but wasn't really around DS. The weekend before last I slept from 8pm Sat to 6:30 Mon, and then didn't touch or hold DS until Wed since I thought I had the flu. So I was there, but wasn't close to him or able to cuddle.
