I would say Target (Cherokee/Circo), Old Navy, and Carter's.

Our little one isn't here yet but it's overwhelmingly Carter's, which surprised us at first because it's almost all from thrift stores and garage sales--we haven't bought anything new; it just happens that all the cutest stuff we've found at those places has been Carter's brand (and often barely worn, too: score!).

Mini Boden, Burberry, and Gap. Most of his clothes fall into those brands.
I also buy Zara and H&M clothes for him, but they're are the minority.

Baby Gap mainly, Tea Collection, and most pjs are Carters.

We are Janie and Jack , Gymboree, Baby Gap, and some Carter's, especially for PJ's. My daughter wears nicer clothes than I do!

It's all over the place now. When she was an infant, it was definitely Carter's and BabyGap. Now she has a lot more local European brands mixed with a lot of Hello Kitty stuff and BabyGap from my mom.
