We live in a small town of just 4,233! I'm going to guess that's on the smaller side, compared to most. Just for fun, what is the population where you live?

But we plan to move on the next year to a city the size of 65k.

66k (suburb) but it honestly feels like so much more. I had to look it up, my guess was 100k.. lol

City population is 2.719 million. County population is 5.241 million. I grew up in a town with a population of 1,412. My current city is much too big for my liking and my hometown is way too small. I feel like goldilocks.

Total population in my county is a little over 4 million. The population of my community is 81k.

60k in my area (we're not a city). 1.5 million in the county and 7 million in the metro area.

3.8 million in my city which is huge, but 1.8 million in my neighborhood.

668K in the city, 3.75 million in the metro area. It's growing rapidly though...when we moved a few years ago it still felt like a really big town but now it definitely has taken on a city vibe.

We live in an unincorporated community in our county, our population says 0
The closest cities have populations of 3500 and the next over (state capital) has 154,000

73k in our island city, which is right next to a city of 400k and across a bay from a city of 800k!
ETA I grew up an hour away in a city of almost a million.

Around 3000. Although it's technically a city, it's considered more as a village because it's so small.

36,000 according to a 2010 census, and I suspect it's grown a lot because tourism has grown so much since. it seems much smaller though because the city encompasses a pretty large area but there is only one small main town.

Metro is about a million, too big for me. I grew up in a city of maybe 60,000, much more doable.

8.5 million in my city but only 1.6 in my borough.
I grew up in a town with only about 7,500 and NO stoplights! Big difference!

-55k in my tiny urban-suburban town (tiny, as in size...1 sq mile).
-674,000 in my county
-20 million in the metro area

137,000 (from 2011). This is about as big as I'm comfortable with, but I would prefer to live somewhere a lot smaller. I grew up in a town with a population under 30,000 and loved it.

17k in 2014 (up from 2k in 2000). One of the fastest growing towns in our state

I live in the country in a 'small unincorporated community' which probably has around 14 people.
The entire county is under 20,000.
Nearest 'city' is 58,000 (45 min away)

We just moved 2 weeks ago to a town of 7,120. We were in a city of 270K. I LOVE the small town (although I miss having Target a 10 minute drive away, not it's closer to a 35 min drive)
