Even though we had a fairly easy newborn stage, I am LOVING two months. He smirks, coos, and is more baby than blob.
What was your favorite time under 1 year?

I loved 6-7 months. She smiled and laughed all the time, her sleep was better than it was as a newborn, and she hadn't started to crawl yet so I could put her down for a moment and not worry about it.

6-9 months when he can sit up on his own, play with toys around him, but wasn't mobile yet.

Now! DD is 9 mo. Mobile, expressive, "talking" (says mama!), just soooo much fun.

6-9 months. She could sit up, was more independent, her sleep was great, naps were great, she was eating finger foods. It was just a good stage.
Then we hit a sleep regression and it all went to hell.

9-12 months. I love when they are mobile and developing distinct little personalities. So fun.

The older he gets, the more fun he is, so I guess I'm going to go with 9-12 months? I love as he gets more adventurous and develops his personality.

6-9 months was my favorite baby stage. He was so incredibly happy during that time which was such a major shift from his colicky newborn days. After that, it just kept getting better and he gets more fun the older he gets!

I'd say about 6-10 months was awesome. He was sitting but not crawling or walking, and on 2 naps which I loved. He was happy and smiley and still pretty portable.

I agree with @akcoffeebean: I always thought every stage was my favourite but they just keep getting better and better!!

@blackbird: seriously though. lol
Probably 7-10 months for me. This was a really fun time for my LO where she learned to sit up on her own, learned to crawl, started saying mama/dada, and started trying to walk. She was really happy because she was able to move more, we weren't yet stressed about solids at all, and she wasn't SO mobile she was getting into a lot of trouble.

My favorite "little baby" age is 4 months, things start getting easier as you leave the newborn fog behind. After that I'd say 6-9 months... or when they can sit and play with toys but aren't mobile yet.

6-9, she's 5 months now and starting to get into it, but their personality comes out, she will be able to sit by herself, start crawling. She will hopefully sleep all the way through the night.

Honestly, as hard as the newborn stage was (colic + reflux + waking every 2 hours), I really love that sweet newborn - 2 month stage. I love how they just cuddle up to you.
@blackbird: HAHA - what's that like?
