With LO 2 on the way we have scrapped our plans for a big vacay in exchange for something less expensive. But would like to try something new!
My favorites are Folly Beach, SC and SGI, FL. We're also considering HHI, which is a family favorite.
Not really considering FL outside of the panhandle because I'd prefer not to fly.

Kiawah Island, SC outside of Charleston. My husband's family does summer vacations there every few years and rents a big house that the whole family shares. They also have condos and apartments at different prices too.

Ocean Isle Beach, NC. Best beach vacation ever. Outer Banks is close second.

I think where I live is pretty nice (southern coast of NC). Apparently, other people think so too since we get lots of tourists...

We always went to Destin when I was little. As a teenager we went to Gulf Shores a lot. Great memories of both.

Myrtle Beach or Outer Banks
The sand dunes at OBX are incredible!!! My DS (4 yrs at the time) had the time of his life!!!
