If I could only choose one place to furnish our entire home, I'd choose Room and Board.

I don't think I can choose. I prefer to buy furniture at antique and thrift stores, or to build it myself.

Hmm I think if it were just 1 store, then a local store here that is all modern furniture. I also really like some stuff at Ethan Allan and Crate and Barrel if I get to pick more than 1 store though!

West Elm is my fave...but we could never afford to furnish our entire home with it!

If money were no object West Elm or Ethan Allen. Classic with some fun pieces mixed in. I also like One King Lane for fun pieces.

@snowjewelz: I have definitely fantasizes about just hiring a designer from west elm to furnish my apartment! I appreciate good design but when it comes to applying it in my home, I can't do it.

I don't think I own anything not purchased from Bob's Discount Furniture or Ikea, but I absolutely lust over Restoration Hardware!!!

But I'm pretty sure it would have to be another life time if we were ever to afford to make significant purchases from those stores!
I like a mix of sleek modern contemporary with classic and those stores have it!
