What is your favorite salad dressing? I just got a new Japanese roasted sesame dressing that is amazing and both DH and I love it. Other than that I like creamy poppyseed.

I like vinegary dressings, like Raspberry vinegarette. But for dipping, I like Ranch and Thousand.

Lemon, olive oil and garlic. I don't like prepackaged dressings, I prefer to make mine fresh.

Ranch and bleu cheese. The worse for you, the better.

I am two extremes... I either like basic olive oil, or super creamy/heavy like ceasar, ranch, blue cheese, etc.

A classic balsamic...or homemade ranch! I make a delicious homemade ranch.

@blackbird: Is it an easy recipe? Would love to try making it. I've never made salad dressing before. I just buy it at the store, but I'm sure fresh homemade dressing would be much tastier.

@jenn23, yes it is! i mix it in the blender...it's WAY better overnight, though.

I don't use dill (i HATE it), will use green onions if i have them (makes it a pretty/fresh green), and use an olive oil mayo and light sour cream. I also have to add a little water or lemon juice to thin it down. It's very thick! You could add parmesan and do a parm-ranch, yum!

@blackbird: Great, thanks for the recipe. Looks easy to make. I'll try it! I don't know that I've had dill by itself before, so I can't say if I like it or not. I'll just omit that from the recipe and see how it comes out since I don't have any, anyway.
