When they fall asleep on your chest, with their little heads snuggled under your chin... just breathe in that new baby smell!

Their sweet sleepiness! I love how they sleep anywhere, and how easily the sleep.

The not being pregnant part?
But really the gas smiles and milk drunk faces.

@Ms.Pumpkin: This!! Wait it ends?? My LO is almost 11 weeks, tell me I have a little more time!

You can put them down and know if you come back in a minute they will be in exactly the same place, this has already gone with my 10 week old

The froggy position and their little curled in hands - and watching them wake up from a sleep, cute stretches and yawns.

ughhh where do I begin!
The big eyes looking at me when we BF
The curled up pose on DH chest
Her milk drunk state
Knowing I made that face

I was just looking at pictures of E...he was so tiny! Like a weatherman with a tiny combover.

EVERYTHING!!! I just made a slideshow of my LO's first year, and I was in a puddle of tears. Really, I love watching videos and hearing her first coos. Those little baby noises just slay me.

ETA: I must admit, during the newborn weeks I would have said there would be NOTHING I would love or miss. Now that he's growing and changing I love the current stage so much more. But I appreciate the newborn stage.
How much they sleep during the day Wish I had appreciated it more then!
Faces he made while sleeping.
How light they are My 15-16 lb 4 month old is giving me a back ache!
The rooting/head shaking reflex before eating. It used to crack us up!
His yawns
How curled up he was and how cute in his Swaddles.

How immobile they are?
I'm pretty excited about having a newborn that cannot run off or climb things and basically chase disaster every waking minute.

@SweetiePie: ROOTING! I forgot about rooting. The newborn stage was not my fave either, but I thought the rooting was hilarious. Every time he rooted around to the air, I imagined a little thought bubble: "Where's my dinner?!"

Getting to know them. What their little toes and fingers look like, feeling them snuggle in and relax. And even if it's subtle seeing a little personality

That she would pass out all snuggly in the ergo and I could walk (or shop) for hours. It was such nice excersize.

When they sleep on you all snuggled up.
But mostly, the fact that they grow and become infants. Which are way more fun

I love it when DD coos at me, stares up at me when I talk to her, sleeps on my chest, grabs onto my finger...
