For me it's brothy soups because that's the basis for a lot of Korean cooking. And of course spicy, spicy spicy!

Really specific? Spicy (Sichuan style) and noodle soups are my fav! And then pasta. Especially cheesy, creamy pasta. Mmm.

This all sounds good! It's making me hungry. I love Mexican, Japanese, and Vietnamese food. More simply, I love really good rustic bread with butter or sometimes even plain.

ETA: I say that because I LOVE fries and a good burger, but I think Mexican might be tied. I can't get enough of tacos and beans and guac and margs! Sushi's up there, too.

Brothy soups too! There's a place nearby that makes amazing galbitang... so that's my favorite at the moment!

Salads. I make really great "loaded" salads - greens, roasted potatoes or some kind of grain, fresh and pickled veggies, dried fruit, strong cheese, some kind of nuts or seeds, sweet balsamic vinegar. I guess that's a lot of "types" of food in one dish.

I would add to mine: ice cream, that would be an entire category and really well crafted baked goods and gourmet chocolates, also Mexican and sushi and really well crafted woodfired pizza and cheeseburgers in general.

@Reese: yes! This has been my number one craving during pregnancy so far. It was our go-to at home date night as well!
Also, appetizers of all sorts. Love!
