I read somewhere the idea of a "flinch point" - the cost at which you think harder about whether or not to purchase something.

I realized that mine is unreasonably low. Like I put back workout tshirts (that I really need!) that were marked down to $8 because it seemed like too much! I am at a point where a lot of things in my wardrobe are worn out or not stylish or don't fit right, I am pretty good at purging but when I consider $30 too much to spend on pants it is hard to replace things!

So, at what price do you grab things you want and is it different for things you need?
