Shampoo, condition, air dry!
I get it cut every 3 months.

Shampoo, condition, air dry, brush, throw it up in a messy bun. Hahaha.

This only varies if I'm going out somewhere other than work or to run errands, when I'll blow dry and straighten it.

I use shampoo + conditioner every third day or so (when it starts getting greasy). If I'm going somewhere I'll use some curl creme after towel drying it a bit, and let it air dry (best option), or will blow dry about 60% of the way. Usually though, I'm just around the house or running errands around town, so I just let it air dry without any product, which makes it pretty frizzy so I'll just throw it in a ponytail.

I get it cut way less often than I should...my hair grows fast! I last got it cut in June, and am past due to get another, but I just moved and it seems like such a daunting task to find someone who will do it well.

Shampoo and condition almost daily. Sometimes not on a Sunday If I don't have extreme head and can get by with dry shampoo, I'll ponytail it. I usually use a serum or some sort of smoothing creme, dry and flat iron. In the summer I might throw it up wet. I get highlights every 10-12 weeks and a cut whenever I remember!

I have fine, wavy hair that I shampoo and condition every other day.

On the days I wash it, I blow-dry, do a quick run with the straightener, follow-up with a large barrel curling iron, and use a shine mist and some hairspray.

On non-wash days, I use dry shampoo and pull it up in a sock bun {minus the sock}.

Bun days are faster, easier, and garner more compliments, and yet I still prefer the other.

My hair care routine is most likely foreign to most people on HB.

I wash my hair anywhere from once a week to once every 2 weeks. I use shampoo once a month and wash with conditioner or "co-wash" most times. Before a wash I coat my hair in a mixture of olive and coconut oils and let that sit for a bit, maybe 20 minutes, sometimes longer for a deep condition. Wash and rinse that out, condition, finger detangle, apply leave-in, comb detangle, add more oils, usually a mix of castor oil and some other products, such as Shea butter and then style. My usual is to wear my hair in small twists for a week, then untwist and wear that style for another. I sleep with a silk scarf every night and re-oil or moisturize my hair every morning.

Deep condition once a month, never use heat on my hair, and dye brown whenever I get tired of my grays.

i also use a curl conditioner (tigi) and a serum for when i curl or straighten.

I wash + condition twice a week. On those days I put mousse and a de-frizz serum in my hair, blow dry my bangs and let the rest curl naturally. After a day or so the curls fall out to look more like waves, especially because my hair's pretty long and heavy.

Every 7 weeks I get my hair professionally dyed to cover up my "rogue streak", as I call it (block of gray in the front of my bangs). Every 2-3 appointments (so 14-21 weeks) I get my hair cut. Last few hair appointments I've been lightening the bottoms of my hair for an ombre look. But I'm going to cut off a few inches at my next appointment, so most of that will be gone.

Wash it about every other day, and condition about once a week. Blow dry with a round brush, or throw into a ponytail. I really need a haircut, my bob doesn't air dry well, I need to add some layers.

Shampoo and condition daily. Always blow dry and straighten or curl during the week and sometimes air dry on weekends. I use Kevin Murphy's Young.Again daily and sometimes add the same line's mousse (Body.Builder) or texturizer (Hair.Resort). I get it cut and colored every 8-10 weeks and get a bang trim every 4-5 weeks.

Oh man you all are making me want to go get my hair done.

Aaand that's it. Yeah. I have such sad hair! I need to give it more TLC, but I have no idea what I'm doing!

I wash and condition every other day. When I do wash, I blow dry and straighten.

The days I don't wash I use baby powder or dry shampoo and run a straightener over the jacked up parts

Wash and condition 1-2x a week.
When I wash, I blow dry and use volumizing mousse.
Throughout the week, I use ocean texture spray and dry shampoo to keep the style and give it texture.
I usually curl it 2-3x a week...my style lasts a long time.
I get it cut 4x a year and balayaged 2-3x a year.

@Mamaof2: Does your routine still look as "clean" when you're not using shampoo on days 2 and 3? I'm always fearful of trying that in case my hair ends up a grease ball!

@MrsBrewer: YES! I look like a little kid with my hair all parted and smooshed all over. It ends up all cowlick-y. There's NO WAY it would be salvageable!

@LindsayInNY: Yes I have been very happy with routine! My hair has been so dry and my hair dresser suggested I use a cleansing conditioner everyday but yuck, did not like it! So now on the 2nd day when I just use conditioner I only apply it to my hair - I don't let it touch my scalp (if that makes sense) but then on day 3 with the cleansing conditioner I scrub my head with it.

Its looking better then ever and I am losing less hair (not postitive if its related but it must be!)

My routine:
Wash with shampoo and conditioner 2-3x a week
Air dry
Brush and possibly tie up.
