She is playing "catch." We have these little balls that fit perfectly in her hand and they are pretty heavy-weight. She picks it up and leans her arm back like she's pitching for the Orioles. The ball doesn't go far when she throws it, but she's playing toss with us! We roll it back to her and she does it again and again. It is adorable!

We play baby soccer. B loves it. We roll a ball to him and DH will swing him so he kicks the ball. B will then jump up and down.. he LOVES it!!

She claps for herself when she wakes up, she points at everything with two fingers, she will show us her muscles... This is such a fun age!

LO has started squawking like a pterodactyl and it's hilarious!

Yesterday, LO was going into the kitchen. He said "Bye Bye Mamia, see you later."

She has figured out how to be "naughty" and sadly it's the cutest thing ever. She has started to hold her own bottle (6 1/2 months) and now when she's fighting sleep she will pull out the bottle and when I go to take it thinking she' done, she will start laughing and put it back in her mouth! It's so hard to not laugh.

My LO is obsessed with rolling and is trying to figure out crawling.. he'll huff and puff and squirm and then lay his head flat out and chew on his hands for a break and then get a huge grin and start up again. Love him!

Every now and then, she waves like The Pope! She will stick out her thumb and first two fingers, then slightly bend the last two and wave. It cracks me up everytime!!

my LO is obsessed with trying to put her hands in my mouth, grab my nose, and feel all around my face and gets this serious look on her face like she is trying to study me and figure me out

Ring around the rosey is her favorite...she says "ashes ashes" when she requests it...she loves falling down at the end

She learned to run..... and she runs like I do. With her hands out in front of her, very girly. And she has to say, "run, run, run," over and over as she's running in a crazy voice.

LO has started clapping when we clap and say yaaaaaay!! It is too cute!!!!

My son is chatting up a storm! I'm so happy because he's been getting speech therapy and it's finally paying off. He says TONS of new words now. I think he's going through some sort of language explosion. I"m so excited! My 8 month old daughter just started clapping and waving "bye" on command.

@Weagle: omg...how did you teach your LO how to show you her muscles? I would LOVE it if my LO did this!!
My LO lifts up my shirt and tickles and kisses back when I'm sitting on the ground. He also clinks glasses with me when I say "cheers!"

@Sammyfab: She would do this arm tensing thing that kind of looked like she was flexing, so we just started flexing and saying "Show me your muscles!" Now she full on flexes and has a really funny face to go along with it. Here's a pic of her halfway doing it (while chewing on a drawstring):

DD pretty much just lays there still... she's starting to roll over though, and every time she does you'd think DH and I just saw her win the Olympics or something...

DD (3yo) has started to act out her answers to questions like "what did you do at swim lessons" as she is telling you; it is hilarious.
DS (7m) leans towards any feeding utensil that comes into relative proximity to him even if it isn't his.

LO (12 months) has learned how to open the cupboard where I keep cans and pasta and rearranges everything, i.e., takes things out, moves things from the bottom shelf to the top shelf, etc. he can entertain himself for a good 30 minutes doing that
He also started to give kisses on demand this weekend!
