Em is still a wee little thing (5 weeks) but she loves lamps right now. If she knows she's near a lamp but isn't facing it she'll cry until you turn her to see it.

Crinkly sounds. She loves the bag of boogie wipes.

LO is 8 weeks and can't get enough of the ceiling fan! He stares and smiles for hours! Well, more like 20 min, but that's pretty much hours in baby-land.

The remote controls. We bought him his own that is pretty annoying, but he loves it.

lights! and movement. and he's reeeeeeeeeeeeeally trying to sit himself up from laying on his back. Ya, no dice buddy. (he's 3 months)

New words. Her favorite now is "uh oh! " and she says it all the time!

He loves it, but it can drive us bonkers! It is guaranteed to keep him busy for minutes at a time, which is valuable, just trying. We find ourselves singing the tunes daily... @autumnlove: I absolutely recommend a remote, he has been in love with it from 7 months and is currently 10 months. I just don't know if we chose the best one or not.

Touching everything. Wherever we are she wants to touch everything. She runs her fingers through the rug fibers, pets the couch, grabs for anything. Tonight she was fascinated by my toes. I love watching her explore!

E loves watching the cat. If we throw kitty treats and the cat has to jump for them; E will laugh so hard. She also loves gently petting the cat, and laughs when the cat sniffs her face. She loved my parents cats too, so I guess it's a "thing" now!
