My son is obsessed with directions! He loves telling me which way to go (right or left) and love watching cars drive me and commenting on which way they're going. My DD is 9 months old and she's obsessed with dolls. Every time she sees any stuffed animal, she goes bonkers. She's also really into doors. She loves watching them open and close.

@googly-eyes: LOL! My DD loves boxes too! I totally forgot about that one. She's constantly trying to climb in. She's really into this climbing phase recently. She tries to climb the stairs all the time. She's more active than my son was at this age!

Climbing. We have an elementary school right behind our house and so we end up there in the evenings most days. I'll think she's got a long time before she reaches the next skill but the girl just watches the big kids and works so hard to imitate them.

@FutureMrsMcK: What is it with kids and remotes? My son was obsessed with remotes for a while, which then got replaced by my phone. My DD is the same. She LOVES remotes and phones. I wish someone would invent a toy that looks like a REAL remote, rather than those bright colored "fake" ones!
