Speed-crawling and cruising with his push-walker. He was super late to move (crawled at 12.5 months), but in the 3 weeks since has just taken off. We're 2 steps behind him at all times trying to babyproof!

@T-Mom: My son has a purse (or would that be a murse?). He carries it cross body like his mama. He also loves wearing hair clips. haha. He used to like walking in my heels when he was younger but he's obsessed with daddy's "big shoes".

She crawled properly for the first time this morning! She's been sliding herself around on her tummy for weeks, and this morning she saw a power cord she wanted to put in her mouth (*sigh*) and crawled right over it. She looked so proud of herself, and SO annoyed when I took it away from her.

@Elderberrygin: My LO is obessed with the cords in our house too. We bought a new cabinet for the electronics and we had to put her in the exersaucer while DH re did everything cause she wouldn't stay out of the way.

He runs around like a drunk. Today at the park he tripped over a tree root and skinned his hands and got an egg on his forehead. Mr. coordination! (He's 17 months).

Transitioning to exclusively walking. If he's walking, and stumbles, he will crawl if he's in a major rush, otherwise he will stand back up.

Crawling at the speed of light unless her push walker is around in which case she is using that at top speed.

@chopsuey: well it's a little easier to stand up and walk around when you're not quite 18 pounds yet like M is!! Much less muscle to drag around than J!!

walking. She gets frustrated these days when I put her in the stroller because it means she can't walk everywhere. She's 13 months.

We are 50/50 with walking/crawling. She loves to walk but when she falls she can't just stand up yet so she will crawl to somewhere to pull herself up. Mobile baby for sure

@banana: aw that's adorable. We joke that my DS is going to be a total metro-dude.
