I wish M would attach to a lovey. She won't take a stuffed animal, blanket with a head lovey or an a+a blanket. Today at daycare, she only slept for 30 minutes. I feel like she needs something to make her comfortable. But what??
What is your lo's lovey? Any suggestions?

We tried introduce several different things but the only thing he took to was his Sound B Gentle Giraffe. He cuddles with it, he chews it, he drags it around his crib, he uses it as a pillow...I wish he'd chosen something cheaper to replace!

At first she was really attached to the sleep sheep. It helped her a lot at daycare (even just the noise - initially I just sent her with the sound box from it until I found out you could sent a stuffed animal if it was a lovey). Now she is OBSESSED with a small jelly cat bunny and mouse.... the bunny especiallly, she sucks on it's ears. I need a backup stat, if for no other reason that this one is going to be WELL loved fast.

a fuzzy white and pink polka dot blankie.
she is OBSESSED with it.
Like, won't get out of the crib without it, rubs it all over her face when she's tired, screams in the car unless she has it, and carts it all over the house and outside. She freakin' LOVES it.

It's a blanket she had since she was an infant. We just started carrying it with us whenever we held her, and she eventually got attached.

I am hoping it will be an A & A blankey (since I got 4 lol) but for now it is her wubby (giraffe wubba nubb). She stares at it and rubs it to fall asleep, and chews on every protruding part he has. She also talks to him all the time! She loves it.

I'm trying to make it an Angel dear lovey...he definitely likes it and cuddles with it while he sleeps and when he's tired. I don't know if he really misses it otherwise. I never carry it around with us bc I don't want it to get dirty.
Eta I introduced it by having it next to us while he nursed and putting it next to his face when I rocked him.

We're getting ready to introduce an Angel Dear owl Blankie, but right now she's very attached to her monkey Wubbanub. I just ordered a backup one because she can't part with it long enough for me to put it through the washing machine!

My lo refuses to sleep with anything. She didn't attach to anything until she was 21 months when she started carrying her doll with her everywhere. But if I ask if she wants dolly in the crib or now toddler bed, she says no. If I just put her there she cries. She's a thumb suckee and needs nothing else to sleep.

He refuses most things, the closest we have is the green Scout dog at bedtime. I've tried stuffed animals and blankets, but he just throws them over the edge of the stroller. Heck, I was desperate enough I took him to Anthropologie and tried all of the expensive stuffed animals with no luck!

DD absolutely must have her Angek Dear purple hippo lovey to sleep. It's the only thing that will calm her when she's really upset. We probably started using it around 5 months but she didnt really get attached til 8 months. We used to be able to give her any lovey or blanket but now it must be the hippo. We have 4 of them!

She alternates. It used to be her blue bear and purple "mimi" (that's what she calls all her blankies). Now her favorite is her "blue mimi" (it's a toddler sized blanket as opposed to her previous purple, baby sized blanket). She has 3 blankets, and every morning she drags all of them down the hallway from her room to ours. Now she must have her "blue mimi" when she eats (its slung over a chair next to hers) and when we take her to preschool (we bring it in the car with us and leave it in the car). The first thing she asks for when she comes home is "blue mimi".
It is one expensive lovey too because it is actually a plush blue NAP blanket DH got me from Brookstone when we were dating!

One of those little blankets with a head on it. It was relatively cheap from Babies R Us, so we got him two (one in wash while he has the other).

She doesn't have anything that she must have to sleep or that she carries around. I wish she did! We do leave a few soft toys in her crib for her to play with when she wakes up. She's started sleeping with one arm slung across one of those, but she sleeps just as well without it.

She doesn't have one, she has many. When we go upstairs for bedtime, wake up in the morning to go downstairs, or leave to go ANYWHERE, she has to carry either one of her 2 Minnie's, Curious George, Lambie or her Cabbage Patch Doll. The CPD with to her swimming lessons last week.LOL!
I guess it's to comfort her, I'm not sure, but it's not fun fighting her to pick ONE thing.

Angel Dear blue bunny lovey. His pacifier fell out of the crib yesterday morning. He wasn't happy. I go in there and he's biting the lovey as I pick him up, stupid teeth!

Sadie uses an A+A blankie, and loves it. She rubs it all over her face and cuddles it while she sleeps, BUT it doesn't help her nap longer. She's a notorious cat napper!

My gramma made DS a soft crocheted blanket when I was expecting him. I used to cover him with it when he was a baby, and to this day, it's still his prized lovey.

@mediagirl: we have an angel dear racoon and a jellycat bunny. he takes both but has a soft spot for his 'roo' I always tuck it between us while nursing so that he associates the racoon lovey with feeling all snug.

She was attached to the A&A blanket but it scared me how she would tangle herself up in it so now I replaced it with the A&A security blankets, and it worked! Smaller but the same fabric, she puts it in her mouth and falls asleep. Cheap & easily replaceable...I'll take it! She also has a plastic tea cup that the last 2 days she's had to have with her, she slept with it last night. So strange

He has this bunny, which he loves. He loves to chew on the ears and little knotted feet and to rub it on his face. I like him to have it while nursing so he doesn't pull my hair. It comes in blue, but this one was a gift and I don't care if he has pink toys, haha.

A&A security blanket is his go to for nighttime sleep, he has a few others that he'll play with before falling asleep during naps, but A&A is his #1 lovey
