I dump the goods out into the toilet and then use some flushable wipes to get out anything that is still left. Then I disinfect it with some water and vinegar. Is this good enough?

I think so since a normal toilet is normally only flushed with water until we take the time to clean it out with a cleaner.

That sounds good, but so much work... Any chance she can use a potty trainer on top of the toilet? We did this to avoid cleaning out potty chairs.

@NYCaliMama: she is going back and forth between the two. I just want her to potty train so I don't want to "force" her onto the big toilet which is still scary for her! she can also get into a proper seated position so much easier on the trainer. I really have to help her on the big one.

If you put just a little bit of water in the bottom of the little potty then it is much easier to dump poop out, or if you can manage to put just a square or two of toilet paper it also helps. At least that way you can cut down on the wipes. Vinegar seems like it should do the trick beyond that.

@Alivoo01: good point!
@Cole: That seems easier - I will try that, thanks!

I just dump everything into the toilet, wipe it down with some tp, and then do a quick rinse over the toilet with a vinegar/water solution.
