What was your holiday budget this year for your LOs? Did you end up over or under budget? We wanted to stay around $100 for LO. We ended up going over by a little, but not much.

$100 each was my budget
Yeah I went over. DS wanted this one Lego set so bad - he has been asking for it for months...... it was $99 - I got it for him and then some other stuff - so I ended up over but I cant wait to see how excited he is to get it!!!!

I voted $76-$100. We wanted to stay under $100. We got him a book, a police card, two of those green toys trucks (they were on sale at costco, two for price of one) and a large world map puzzle, I think it was about $75 or just slightly more.

We didn't have a budget...but that's because we generally try to get by spending as little as possible. I think we spent about $45 on LO.

We didn't spend much this Christmas--a $30 gift card on two little people sets (got them months ago when they were buy one get one free), $2 on Christmas PJ's from Goodwill, and $5 on some little stocking stuffers. I voted $26-50, but since it was a gift card I'm not sure that counts. We only have 1 daughter and it's her 1st Christmas (11 months).

We budgeted $200 for our only LO but only ended up spending $150

Not really a "set budget" but my goal for everything for LO (Santa, stocking, our gfits) was not go go over $150. I ended up being under by like 20 bucks.

No budget...I think I spent around $50 on LO? And then he's getting a bunch of gifts that were given to him two months ago for his birthday as well that I've hidden in the closet since then!

I spent less than $50 on his gifts and stocking stuffers. It's his first Christmas and although I would love to buy more he really doesn't need much.

I didn't set a budget! I probably spent a little under $200 since the kitchen was $125. Then two of her 4 items were $20. The DVD of Sleeping Beauty is really for me though

We were supposed to keep it at $200 per LO but we spent way more than that.... But less than then the previous 2 years... DH goes crazy

I didn't set a budget but we probably spent between $75 and $100.

I didn't set a budget and just bought here and there since September. Adding it up now I'm not happy with myself! But $20 here and there adds up quickly!

Didn't set a budget. We only bought her 3 gifts, under $200. Blocks, magnatiles, and dvds.

No budget. I spent about $75 on Santa gifts, but we are not getting him anything else.

I thought we'd spend $100 on Liam, but we spent more. Budgeting is hard!!

I don't have any LOs and we didn't really have a budget for the nieces and nephews. Though when I bought the gifts, we spent about $75-100 each on them.

$100, and we stayed right around there. Considering we got a play kitchen that will last a long time, I'm really pleased!

@bluestriped bee: I'm spending about $65-$75 per god child & their sibling, so that's five kids total. I wonder if this is overboard and the parent's don't expect this at all. I would love to cut back on the amount I spend on bdays and Christmas. Would they notice or care though?

We didn't set a budget. They are only getting 2 gifts each from us though, and definitely nothing extravagant (LO2's main gift was bought second hand).

I budgeted apx. $150-$200 per kid. I'm positive I went over on some and under on others (3 kids). As they get older their gifts become more expensive!! I shopped mostly online and took advantage of lightening deals, black Friday, and cyber Monday!
I haven't gotten anything for my Step-Daughters yet because their Mother won't call me back!!

We didn't have a budget, but he's getting a LOT. I shop sales all year so I'm not sure what I spent, but it was more than $200, since his big present was a kitchen ($150)

I have been buying stuff since sept...I think 125ish. Maybe less!

We didn't set a budget and I'm not sure how much we spent. Probably $150ish.

We didn't really discuss a budget, but I wouldn't have felt comfortable spending over £100. We came in at £75, so I'm happy with that.

We just had an overall holiday budget to cover gifts, parties, etc. But I picked $0-$25 since that is how much we ended up spending on LO.
She's so little (just turned 2) that she wouldn't know the difference if we spent $5 or $500. And once she's older, I hope we don't spoil her into thinking she needs pricey presents!

We didn't set a budget, but I think between presents and stocking stuffers we spent about $200. He's our only lo (until the twins get here) though so had we been buying for all 3 I think we would have spent less.

We didn't set a budget. For either kid really. But the one outside my uterus got more.

I bought everything second-hand (guitar, shopping cart, schleich figurines, and music toys) plus I bought some books on cd because I know they are getting a CD player from grandparents. I have spent $35 for 2 kids!

We didn't budget this year, just bought a few gifts every time we went to the store or once a week on Amazon from September until now.
