I'm overwhelmed by all the options! We got Aveeno, California Baby, Johnson & Johnson, and Burts Bees at our showers. No clue which one to start with!

We use J&J. Cheap and easy and smells nice. And I'm not yet dead from having it used on me as a baby, so I'm not worried about LO.

I avoid J& J because they know about the issues with their product and it has taken then over 4 years to "correct" that in america whereas in other countries they have been marketing the safer formula. I have really followed this issue closely and read all their press releases on the matter and have been less than satisfied. I used to love them growing up
We use california baby and CeraVe

We use water & put a couple drops of lavender oil in P's bath. Nothing that a good scrub (well gently good scrub) can't get clean.
We avoid all J&J products (including Aveeno) due to their ingredients issues & their lack of appropriately fixing them.

@runsyellowlites: Do you do cloth wipes too? I saw a recipe for a cloth wipe spray with lavendar oil, and your post made me think of it! We were interested in trying it.

@grizz: We did, but some way or another I lost a bunch in the move (seriously no clue how). We've been using California Organics baby wipes.. I need to order more cloth though!

We have a bunch too, but so far just used BabyGanics Foaming Wash and Aveeno Baby. I prefer the BabyGanics because it has a pump, only need to use one hand. I'm going to try the Burts Bees and Medela next.

California Baby or Shea Moisture Baby Wash. The Shea Moisture smells so good it's incredible. I use it, too! I have a bottle of Dr. Bronner's baby wash but it burns my eyes so much I didn't want to use it LO.

@tororojo: my thoughts exactly. We use J&J (lavender or the yellow one w/ a pump from Costco).

The purple J&J sleep wash. Anything to help LO go the F to sleep, lol...Plus I love the way it smells!

CA Baby Sensitive. and not on every wash because it looks like LO has mild eczema.

We use J&J - I think it just smells like baby! So nice. Plus DH really loves it. We have California Baby too, and I don't like it as much.

We use Aveeno baby. DS has a little bit of eczema and that's what the ped recommended.

California Baby Super Sensitive
@grizz: When we used cloth wipes we only used water per our pedi's recommendation. DS was always having a sore bum from reactions and even our DIY wipes solution was proving to be a problem. Good 'ol water was amazing!

We used the J&J Naturals foaming wash, but DS had a slight reaction to it. So we switched to Aveeno. It smells really nice.

Burts Bees but thinking about trying Aveeno. Although I heard it's made by J&J I also read good recommendations for it; I think it's paraben free, etc. I'll have to check though.

Not to suggest another to add to the mix but we LOVE The Honest Company shampoo & body wash in Orange Vanilla. It is free of chemicals and smells amazing!
We also used California Baby before once we ran out I had no interest in replenishing it.
