I'm not a beer drinker, but I need to buy a beer to put in a chili recipe. What's your favorite?

Bud light, simply because we have it
Typically, something rich and dark would complement the meaty flavor of chili, though! Maybe a stout?

I've used whatever we have in the house: bud, corona, heine. i like @blackbird's suggestion.

Whatever we have, but if I have a choice, something darker. It does add more flavor than something light like Bud Light.

I would do an amber of some kind. Probably a Shiner.

Something dark like a Newcastle. We almost always specifically buy Newcastle for chili.

DH likes to fiddle with beer in chilli, her prefers amber and dark beers. We used an oatmeal stout last time and it was delish!
