R is moving up rooms next month so I need to get her a blanket. What kind do you use? Could I send an A&A blanket or is it not thick enough?

I think it depends on how warm it is at daycare. In the summer / spring I send a thin blanket. In the cold months I send a thin fleece blankets. But she kicks them off half the time.

OMG, why are you posting about toddlers???? Do we have toddlers now????
Also - if it were Xander, I'd send an A&A swaddle blanket because that's what he naps with now and is used to (plus he tends to wrap it around his head so...). I wouldn't really think they need the blanket for warmth, so you could do something thin like an A&A blanket.

My daycare loves a big thick blanket to cuddle with at daycare. Not that she's cold but just the soft fluffiness of something heavier.

@Smurfette: LO has a thick crocheted blanket for naptime. Even during the summer, I would want something for her that is more substantial than an A+A blanket.

@MsLipGloss: She has some of those but I think they are on the smaller side. Or maybe in my head they are small but if I lay one over her if might be ok.

I think an AA swaddle is probably too thin unless daycare is very warm. I sent a handmade thin quilt. Someone gifted it to us, but it isn't my style, so I felt bad about not using it. At least it gets used at daycare.
LO's current blanket was actually made for her by one of her daycare teachers!
