I have Ikea bookshelves in my LO's room but I'm looking for something different for the nursery!
What kind of storage do you have?

I have a PBK Catalina book shelf.
It's a mess because LO always takes her books off the shelves and I've given up on organizing it.
Picture's from the website. Obviously not ours.

DH built one but it's just like the 2x4 expedit from IKEA. We lay it flat so that he can access all his books

We toss them into Ikea Trofast bins ... A shelf would be a nightmare since they would never stay put. At least the bins keep them reasonably contained in between book-fests.

These are the shelves in Ria's room. We built Ana White's 10 dollar ledges. And were very proud of them as neither Mr SH or I are terribly handy. She has more books in the closet and the board books are in the living room and our room (because I read to Sunny in our room)

I have some Ikea Ribba picture ledges. I also have a basket by the glider with books and a dresser drawer filled with books.

We bought Ikea bookshelves but then added moulding to them to give them a bit of a different look. I really like how they turned out

Right now we're using large wicker PBK baskets, but we're quickly outgrowing them. There's no great spot for ledges, (which I desperately wanted), so we'll probably go with some sort of bookshelf in the next couple of months.
I'm pretty big on making books visible and accessible. We're good on the accessible part, but it would be nice to have them displayed a little more neatly

We splurged on the oeuf mini library (it was love at first sight!).....it's arriving next week.

I don't have a picture, but it's a kids bench that matches her dresser that I found at an antique store. They do refurbished furniture and it has hand painted dragonflies on it.
When LO was a baby she obviously was too little to sit on the bench and I wanted to make use of it so I stuck all of her books on it.

We have an expedit in the nursery but also bought ikea picture ledges (ribba) for a wall display.

@sylvie_b: I love it! I think my niece has the same one!

We have an Ikea bookcase. The nursery will take over our office so I plan on leaving the bookcase there and just finding a new home for all our stuff.

@mrskc: totally off topic, but I love your chevron curtains! Where are they from?

We have some adorable, classic winnie the pooh bookends that we use on top of DS's dresser. I want to put ledges up eventually, nut the bookends work for now.

@rrachael: I saw another ikea hack like this! Love it and hope to do something like that when we need a little more storage!

Like some of the other mamas we have picture ledges. We don't have an ikea nearby, and didn't want to build anything, so our "ledges" are actually sliced up pre-made door frames - you'd never be able to tell!

We are still in the very early stages of nursery design, but I got our Ribba ledges up today.
