I am planning on making cupcakes for DS's 1st birthday party this weekend, but am having a hard time deciding what flavor!
What kind of cake did you have at LO's 1st birthday???

Totally going cupcake wars on you. Do you have theme you could derive an ingredient or two to use? Ex jungle theme- banana cupcake or circus theme-peanut butter

@Mrs. Lemon-Lime: I love cupcake wars! We don't really have much of a theme except for bright colors and such. I will have to try and get creative!

I would just do vanilla and buttercream - maybe color the batter in multiple colors to make it more fun.

I was just going to suggest what @rawrasaur said! I always do vanilla w/ vanilla buttercream, but you can color the batter and frosting fun colors.
