I need ideas! I don't want shelves or a gallery wall (doing a gallery wall above the changing table already) and I'm not a huge fan of decals.....what else is there?

We have a ribbon mobile over our daughter's crib:

We have a mobile. I'm not a fan of anything framed above the crib because if risk if falling into crib and injuring babe.

We have a decal but we considered just wood or paper mache letters above there, maybe inside a frame or maybe not.

We just have a couple of framed photos, they actually need updating.

@sapphire: that's what I worry about! We had three framed prints above LO#1's crib and they were velcro'd and earthquake-proofed within their lives and it was a pain...it still made me nervous!

We have the same curtains as in the picture...but our walls are a neutral tan color. And our crib is espresso.

But also, don't worry about the name! We didn't even know the sex...and the baby wasn't in her crib from the start anyway. We got it when she was about 2 months old... -

My daughter has a framed caricature of her from a fair last summer. My son has a framed sketch drawn by a coworker's wife, who is an illustrator.

I have a large decal that matches the prints that I have. I was going to put prints over the crib but DH was concerned about them falling so we only did the decal!

We have dot decals and a ribbon mobile. I live in "earthquake country", aka California, so I never hang anything heavy over the bed.

A garland from lovegarlands on Etsy. I'm moving it to my office and ordering a canvas from her newborn photos to replace it. I love the garland but we have tons of windows, a door and 2 closets in her room so I have very little wall space.
