I know it can be weird to ask for what you want, but here's a poll! Here's the catch... you can only choose one!

I really just want something she made or scribbled on. I asked DH to buy a notebook and get her to do a few pages each year for Mother's Day, so this year it will just be scribbles but through the years it will be drawings and writing etc. Who am I kidding, a spa treatment would be damn good too

I want brunch and flowers! But I would not turn down anything... we'll see if DH even thinks about mother's day! (I'm still pregnant so... not sure if it will register for him!)

I voted a meal out, but sleep is pretty high on the list too. Sleep is always high on the what I want list.

I voted sensible item. It's looking like I'm getting some plants for Mother's Day - we just built a new retaining wall at the front of our house and we need to landscape it. I think I'll pick out an extra special plant just for me

I get flowers and I look forward to it every year! We pick them out together then spend the afternoon gardening.

I dont want any kind of item, but I just want to be recognized. Last year DH took LO to his parents house and left me home alone. Although it was nice to have some 'me' time, I didnt feel all that special!

I asked my husband for two things:
1. take some photos of my son and I
2. an hour alone to go to home depot and pick out some plants

I'll take anything... just something that recognized that I work hard as a mommy. I think we'll probably go out to brunch at a great brunch buffet downtown, which sounds just perfect.

I normally don't ask for anything but this year I asked for a necklace with a pendent with B's initials.

It's a bit of fun, sensible and luxury. I want the Whitney English planner, it's a lot more money than I would ever pay for a planner but it's exactly what I'm looking for and would like for school.

I'm getting a momcation this weekend, so I just wanna spend quality time with my fam on mother's day!

I can't think of what I want, I'm on the fence about specifically asking for no gift and just a brunch out with the family since we're spending so much on our new house! And I'm about to get my new kitchen, so that seems like a big enough gift!

We're going on a mini family vacay the weekend after Mother's Day so I told DH that could be my gift. But I would love card "from" LO!

I want a designer bag......I won't get it.
So in reality I want to spend Sat with DH and R. Then have DH cook me a nice dinner that night. Then spend Sunday with my Mom, grandma, and the rest of the family.
@lawbee11: Yes! I will be upset if DH doesn't make or buy a card from R. I think last year he did one from both of them.

I voted handmade craft or card. DH and I got a nice DSLR and that's my Mother's Day/bday/Christmas this year

My big combo gift this year (birthday/mother's day/anniversary) is getting a house cleaning service...so excited bc I hate cleaning!

Just to be spoiled but not with gifts. Not have to cook or clean up or change diapers
maybe take the girls to a park or something. Food at home on the grill.

Now that it's getting nice, I want a bike so that we can do family bike rides. I'll probably get a massage and won't turn that down.

I would love a pedicure
We'll actually be in Philly for a wedding party meet n greet BBQ. I think we'll probably go out to lunch at our favorite brewery on Saturday, though?

I was debating between a spa treatment and sleep, but decided sleep wins. I'd love to get one night of uninterrupted sleep!

I asked for a sensible item - a vegetable spiralizer.
May is an awesome month for me though (Mother's Day, birthday, anniversary), so I don't really have to limit my wish list to the sensible item
.

What I REALLY want is for my lovely DD to arrive before mother's day (i'll be 41w on that day). That would be a super gift from her haha. From my husband... I really don't know. Anything thoughtful. Doesn't have to be expensive!

My husband and I got a couples hot stone massage last weekend and afterwards he asked if I liked my Mother's Day gift; so I guess that was it! And I did enjoy it!
We're also going to a nice brunch at a restaurant I love.

normally, i'd want a nice dinner out. But, since I'm having my bladder removed the day before, I'm gonna have to pass this year on that...or take a rain check!

I'm a Mother's Day/birthday combo, and he suggested a designer handbag, and I happily agreed. {We don't do surprises.}

I want flowers from the Farmer's Market, which I'll get.

I want to get a BFP next week in order to be able to celebrate mother's day!

I would love nothing more than to get a Kindle HDX or something for Mother's Day (which I considered a luxury item when I voted). I use my phone mostly for reading eBooks since I never have a chance to power up my laptops anymore. I want something I can click on and off and read my books!
Anyone looking to get rid of their Kindle?

Healthy pregnancy check up a few days before (am I a mom at 10 weeks pg??
) ! Gonna make my mama really happy when I tell her the news too....

My mom is coming in to town, so we don't have any special "me" plans. Which is fine! I had such a lovely Mother's day last year.
BUT if we had an unlimited budget, I would love a spa day! Some prego-pampering sounds lovely.

We are going out for brunch. I am happy with anything though- as long as my boys out some thought into it. I bet it will be a gift certificate to get my hair done or something!
