dh has gotten a head start and bought kit kats, reese's, choco mix of snickers, 3musketeers, milkyways, etc.
we usually do a sucker like blowpops or fruity candy like skittles or laffy taffy too!

ONly chocolate! Reeses and kitkats. My parents always give out king sized candy bars so I like to hang out there to collect extras.

I only buy candy that we'd eat if leftover: Snickers, Twix, Hershey's.

@anonysquire: I second the only chocolate! As for what kind...whatever we see on reasonable sale between now and Halloween. The tradeoff is getting it early enough that we can get something good (see also: eating leftovers), but late enough that we don't eat it ourselves before Halloween!

Usually half chocolate half sugary. Haven't bought any yet, but will see what they have at Sam's or Costco.

We buy chocolate - Reese's, Hershey bars, Twix, KitKat. We make sure to buy it the day before; otherwise, it wouldn't last 'till Halloween

@MungBean: Well my dad is the bishop of the ward, so like the pastor or priest of the whole neighborhood, so EVERYONE comes to visit. My neighborhood is the best for trick or treating. So many houses give out big candy bars or sodas or more.

@autumnlove: ugh, I too am dreading Halloween this year. DD is MSPI so no milk (aka CHOCOLATE!) for me thisyear. I think maybe we'll give out gummies and chips?
