We had a electric GE kettle but it started building up some sort of limescale inside of it and then starting rusting! I want to get stove to kettle, preferably glass since that will be easiest to clean. Any recommendations?

I don't know anyone with a glass kettle, actually. But we use this one almost every day and it's held up great.

ours is just stainless. it's by oxo. i've only used it a few times, but it's fine.

@Mrsbells: I'm almost positive it's porcelain coated. I've had it for 4 years now and use it very regularly. It's held up, but I've also never had a glass one, so that could be better. It get the job done for me, and in pretty rough with it.

I have an enamel Les Creuset that I do not like! The inside chips...I need to call customer service!

That's too bad about your Le Creuset...reminds me though, I have an enamel large stock pot that has a big chip. Do you happen to know if that's covered on warranty by chance?

We have a glass one. My mom swears by them, although they tend to be harder to find (at least around here). They're easy to clean with water and vinegar.
