And where do you buy the replacement blades?
I was using an Intuition, but the cartridges are so expensive and don't last very long. So I started sharing DH's Mach3... Which works well, but I checked blade refill prices and those are expensive, too! What's the deal?! Am I missing some secret razor blade discount scheme, or what?

I use Schick Quattro. I think I got 8 replacement blades for $14 on Amazon, but I think I caught them on sale. I have no idea if there's some secret discount place but if there is I hope someone shares, because I love love love my razor but the replacement blades are usually ridiculously priced.

I use anything that has 5 blades...anything else cuts up my legs. We get refills at Costco.

My husband uses that same razor and he gets the blades on eBay. I use Venus something...similar to the Intuition and get refills at Costco when they're on sale/have a coupon.

I use a mach3, I dry off my razor after each use and I don't store it in the shower. Each blade lasts me forever, like six months or longer so it doesn't end up being that expensive.

I like bic soleil. They are disposable and cheap, but they are the only ones that dont cut me or cause razor burn.

I use a Schick Hydro and I've only paid for refills once because I follow their Facebook page and the Money Saving Mom FB page and they seem to have free samples a lot! They remind me a lot of the Intuition with less of the soapy stuff.

@grizz: same shick hydro. I got it for free in the mail, and it came with a coupon for a few dollars off the refills. Much better than the Venus disposables I was using, and with the coupon, not much more expensive. Razors are so pricey!

@LemonLong: 6 months?! That's insane. I do leave the razor in the shower... I'll start taking it out and see what happens.
@FutureMrsMcK: $14 is a great price for 8 refills! That's like $10 less than the Mach3 refills.

I still love the Intuition... no shaving cream required! It makes shaving so much easier and fast.

@babybeemcd: I used those for close to 10 years! But I always have an issue with mold/mildew, and the soap part runs out way too fast (even when I keep it out of the running water while using it). I've loved it, but I think it's time to move on

@allison: Yeah, it looks like they're $18 on Amazon now. I used to get them from Sam's Club...I think it was like 12 refills for about $18, but they don't have them at Costco, where we go now.

@wheres_c: I was starting to wonder if I was the only one using disposables! I use the Bic Soleil too. They work really well and are relatively inexpensive, plus it's easy to either find coupons, or stock up when the store has BOGO deals. I think I got 8 razors for like $4 and change last shopping trip. They have 4 blades, I believe, and don't cut up my legs.

I use one of the Venus razors, the kind where you dispose of the whole razor when dull, not the kind with the refillable head. That kind kept falling off when I was shaving.

@IRunForFun: That's a really good deal. I'll have to check into those, too. But I am terrible at couponing because I don't get a newspaper or anything. I do most of my shopping online. And I don't have a Sam's or Costco membership.

I also use the Bic Soleil disposable razors. They are the best of all the disposables I've tried and I really like them. My husband bought me the Intuition but I strongly prefer the Soleils. The Intuition didn't shave very closely and the soap broke apart only a week or two into using it.

@allison: I don't get a newspaper either, nor do I have a membership to Sam's or Costco. I got them at my regular grocery store, I think the coupon was in their flier that they have at the front of the store! Plus, there was another coupon actually on the razor package, a manufacturer's coupon, which I cut out and saved for next time.

The only one that I have found that doesn't hack up my legs is the Venus divine! So expensive but it works the best for my legs!

My DH and I both use a Mach3. He reuses to share with me so he bought me one too. I really should start looking for coupons!
