I normally reuse Lululemon shopping bags since they are so big and good for groceries. You can't throw them in the wash, though (or can you?). I would rather have something that washes well. Any recs?

I like the One Bag ata Time bags: big, sturdy, washable, and really cute prints!

We buy the ones from local grocery stores for like $1! And we have a bunch from when I "hosted" a Ball Canning House Party!
I really like the Envirosax ones and they're forever on sale sites.

I have a set of 5 envirosax, I love them! They roll up super small so they fit in my purse, they hold a ton, and the long straps makes it easy to carry in the groceries. I get lots of compliments about how cute they are!

Another here for envirosax.. I wash them regularly and have had one that's been used weekly for at least 4 years. LOVE them!!
I hate the cheesy $1 ones grocery stores seem to carry - they wear out in a few months so it is just generating more trash any ways!
I love stores that give 5 cents per bag back.. it adds up!

@regberadaisy: seems like I have to get me some of those!! If you see them on sale, can you let me know?

I always get them from stores too!
I have a few from Aldi's, one from a local cooperative, two from Whole Foods, one from Marshalls (it has owls on it!!), one from TJ Maxx and a hot and cold bag as well.
I've seen some on etsy that are cool.
Although this is something I've always wanted to try too!

@Andrea: I will!
@scg00387: the ones at my grocery stores are really sturdy! I've been using them for years. But then that grocery store is like a local version of Whole Foods. The only downside is that they're not washable but I can always wipe them down.

@regberadaisy: thanks! Yeah, I think getting ones that you can wash are probably the best even though those store ones are sturdy!

I bought six from my grocery store for $0.50 each. I love how many groceries they hold because I don't have to take as many trips to my car when I'm unloading. It was especially nice when I lived in an upstairs apartment.

@andrea they are on sale on zulily! http://www.zulily.com/e/envirosax-082012.html?pos=0 they make great presents too

@scg00387: thanks!! @regberadaisy just gave me a heads up, too! How many do you fill up at the store? I normally have a pretty full shopping cart and fill up 4 large Lululemon bags. I was thinking about buying 5 Envirosax?

I have a couple from Trader Joe's that I love. I also have a few Barnes & Noble bags that I've had for a couple years & are still holding up well.

My mom got me some from QVC. They hook to the carts and you just pull them up when you are done. There is a regular one and a cooler one. LIke the ones below, but mine are leopard print pattern. : )

@andrea I don't think I've seen a lululemon bag so I am not a good compare-r. For my full cart I'd say 4 or 5 would be great but I always tell them I don't care what goes in with what It's amazing what fits in though - I have a 'spare' that lives in my purse & will do the same with a diaper bag.
I bought 4 of the fun bright prints.. just because! There was a $5/50 coupon on retailmenot.com & I went through ebates, so after I added a 'milkies' (which I'd also wanted to try come delivery time and it's $17 instead of $26!) I qualified..I am officially banned from shopping the rest of the weekend!

Mine are from trader joe's but I'd like to find some that are bigger.

I use ones that are made from recycled plastic bottles...I prefer bags that I can wipe down when I am carrying groceries.

I like the bags from reuse it.com - They have big reusable bags shaped like paper bags, and Their workhorse bag is shaped like a plastic bag and folds up in a pouch.

@Jennimac: @dagret: those are super cool! Too bad you can't wash them, though? Ideally, I wanted bags that I can throw in the wash all the time.
@scg00387: thanks for the info! I think I'll probably get 5 .... now if only I could make up my mind about the prints.

I am a Thirty-One consultant, so I use what I sell.LOL This is my grocery bag. I love it. SO cute!

I have mostly cheap ones from local stores. My favorite is a Reisenthel Mini Maxi bag my MIL bought me. It folds up nice and small so I can keep it in my purse all the time, but it holds more than a regular plastic shopping bag from a store. Seems very durable, too.

Baggy bags! I keep them in my purse & they come in the cutest colors

@Andrea: i wash mine all the time. I've had them for about 5 years now and they still hold up great. especially the big PET recycled ones shaped like paper bags.
