For a "luxury" apartment, our window treatments are really cheap.
We have plastic/metal blinds. -.-
Hate them, but don't feel like putting curtains up since we don't plan on staying here too long.

We put faux-wood blinds in our bedroom because there was nothing, but the rest of the treatments are curtains from the previous owners. They'll do until we figure everything out else!

We have painted wood blinds on all of our windows (they were included in the price of our home when it was built), we have light and sound blocking curtains over them in out bedroom, and I am shopping for the perfect curtains for our living room currently, rooms just look so much more cozy with curtains over the blinds.

We have custom curtains in the living room, and IKEA curtains elsewhere.

We have plastic blinds but it's a rental and the owner leaves his curtains here. They're really fancy and kind of heavy for our taste but they're nice.

We have custom wood blinds on the main floor and roller shades everywhere else.

We have "faux wood" blinds in the living room, dining room, and family room -- which are just thick plastic blinds, but they look fine. We have white cloth roman shades in the master bedroom and nursery, and red cloth in the office.

@chopsuey119: why aren't you planning to stay there long? I thought you loved it!
We have cheap metal blinds too. Ugh.

A few custom wood blinds that came with the house, then I put up curtains.

@Mrs. Pen: we love it a lot, but figure we should find a house with a yard so the kids can go out and play.

@chopsuey119: does that mean moving out of Atalanta?
hostess / wonderful honeydew / 32460 posts
@Mrs. Pen: no we'll stay in Atlanta.. Gonna start looking for places middle of next year I think. Never thought I'd settle down in GA, but looks like we'll be here for.. Who knows how long!

@chopsuey119: where are you from? Or where did you think you'd be?

We have horizontal sheers in the main living area, and wood horizontals in all the other rooms. We also have cheapie blackout curtains in the upstaris living room and on the sliding glass door. Baby Girl has the only nice decorative curtains in the whole house.

@Mrs. Pen: I lived in southern CA most of my life. Never imagined meeting and marrying someone from GA. I'd love to move back one day, but we'll see.

We have floor length curtains on almost every window. Lots of them from IKEA, but some that we've made. We also have wood blinds on some windows.

We also have cheap metal blinds. I meant to make curtains for the front windows but never got around to it, whoops!

@chopsuey119: Same. Cheap-y plastic/metal blinds. We're renting right now and looking at moving soon so we're definitely not putting anything into 'em!
