...specifically if you weren't insured through your workplace?
Neither my nor DH's work offers us life insurance, and we need to get on this! What company do you use? Do you like them? Any tips for buying life insurance?
We currently have Allstate car insurance, and I know they have life insurance as well. I figured I should ask around before going with them, though!

DH is a big Dave Ramsey fan. He recommends Zander Insurance. It is a brokerage firm. They did all the work and found us the best deal for what we needed.

Our financial advisor took multiple bids and Minnesota Life made the best offer for us.

We plan to use USAA for our life insurance in the future. We LOVE USAA. I'm not sure if everyone is eligible for their insurance programs, but if you are military or the child of someone in the military (like us) then you are eligible!
