Our AC went out and we thought we were going to have to shell out $1800-2800 (ouch!!) to repair or replace it. Thankfully, our friend came over last night (who used to work on ACs) and found out that it was just a short in a wire and repaired it for us for free. Hallelujah!!
Oh, and DH took DD to daycare so I could have a little "me" time today.

I sliced the top of my index finger off yesterday before work, which is very painful for a job where lots of typing/data entry happens. When I got to work today a coworker said she went ahead and ran my morning reports for me so that way I could give my finger tip a rest since she knew it had to be bothering me...I thought that was very sweet of her!
(it's the one I normally don't see eye to eye with, so it made it even more unexpected since we don't really get along the greatest!)

DH is bringing the girls to my office today & then we're going to lunch. Makes me happy knowing they're coming later today

My new washer and dryer are being delivered and installed tomorrow. I am both happy and sad, as this means I have no reason to bring the laundry to my mother's house!

I took LO to a playdate and she stayed awake for 3hrs (great for her!) and then crashed without issue once we got to the car so I managed to have a sneaky McDonalds drive-thru on the way home!

E and I get up before D, and when D needs to get up I open our bedroom door and E runs in, jumps on the bed and climbs onto D to wake him up. When he did it this morning he pulled the covers down off of D's face and nuzzled into him. It was very sweet to watch.
And E himself woke up very happy. I listened to him babble and giggle to himself for almost half an hour before I got him out. When he saw me he started dancing around the crib, and when I got close immediately put his hands on my face to identify my eyes and nose. I closed my eyes, asked where my mouth is (he just learned this) and puckered my lips and instead of him touching and identifying my mouth he pressed his cheek against my lips
