Talking, definitely. He was late to the babbling game and now he's making up for it. I'm really excited to be able to talk with him. In real English

Tor's babbles are becoming more word like, he started to sign a teeny bit and he is big into problem solving stuff now like puzzles and his shape sorter. I'm so relieved because although he was always ahead on the physical stuff he was late to the game on the other stuff. I also love how well he understands me now.

Walking... she's SOOO close but rather than start at the couch or other object where she can balance herself & then go, she's determined to stand all on her own from the middle of the room & walk from there. pfft
Talking... she still doesn't have any actual words, but has been getting more vocal with her babbling.

Crawling. She gets up on all 4's and rocks back and forth and then falls. She will scoot around on her belly.
Also tooth #2 is working on making its appearance. Still waiting on #1 to fully come up.
And we are trying our first purée this weekend!

Standing on her own. She stands at the ottoman and you can see her concentrating as she gently pushes off, holds it for a few seconds, then falls.

Walking-- she cruises well, pushes her alligator walker like a champ, and finger walks super fast! But her balance is still off, so she hasn't taken any steps yet! She's 13.5 months.

at 7.5 months, she's just started crawling. and yesterday pulling herself up on the coffee table!

I think she's working on talking and she's getting better at walking.

He's learning to sit up unassisted and attempting to crawl.

Taking!! He is getting to the parroting stage and it is so fun! It seems there is about 4-5 new words a week.

DD is six weeks old. She's currently working on holding her head up while she's on her tummy mat, and doing a really impressive job with it. She's also starting to intentionally kick, grab, and grip.
She's been smiling for a few weeks now, and I cannot wait until she lets out a giggle.

She stands without holding anything so walking should be next but she's not really working on it really. When she sees something she wants she plops down and crawls because she knows how speedy she is.

14 months and we're working on walking. LO is *almost* there - she walks great if you hold her hands, but she is still unsure of herself if you don't hold her hands.
More talking - LO has about 15 words now (clear words), and tons more half-english, half-babble words.

LO is working on standing unassisted. She can do it for a few seconds but gets nervous and grabs back on or sits down. She just started using her push walker yesterday so I imagine steps will follow soon after.

She's getting really good at crawling and is also starting to pull up and stand more steadily.

Rolling over. He's done it a few times but only in his crib at night, so I always miss it.

She told me she pooped today! That was pretty awesome. I don't think she's anywhere close to being potty trained, but I was so surprised. We are experiencing a word explosion in the past 3 weeks she has learned a new word daily, mostly words we've used with her all the time, but now she says them without repeating after us or parroting. Today she told my friend, "high five." It's actually been pretty surprising for us how fast she's picking up words.

Standing! She rises up onto her feet a few times a day now!

Standing and cruising. M (11 months today!) pulls up on everything but doesn't really take steps. If I put her behind he walker she just sort of sinks down to her knees.

Walking and it's driving her nuts! She took a couple steps between furniture today so hopefully that's meaningful progress!
nectarine / 2994 posts
Walking. She cruises and uses her walker the majority of the day and she took a couple of solo steps the other day but I think she just needs to get her balance and a bit more confidence.
nectarine / 2163 posts
definitely talking. he babbles like crazy and I swear he's saying stuff... just maybe in Japanese or something? he doesn't have any actual words yet but he's barely 12 months so I'm not worried

Walking! LO turned 12 months this past week and just took his 1st steps a few days ago; nothing since though. He's a little on the cautious side, so he just needs to gain a bit more confidence.

Walking! And more words - we're up to 4 (mama, dada, nana, and tat for cat) . . . she babbles all the time! She turns 1 (!!!!) this weekend!

Running and talking! The running isn't very successful, but she gives it her best.
persimmon / 1447 posts
Crawling. She wants to move so bad, but can't get the hang of getting her knees under her. So she just sticks with rolling to her intended destination.

Walking and I'm not ready!!! He's only 9 mths!!!! Stop the mobility"!!!
pomegranate / 3983 posts
Pulling to a stand, also crawling but he's not really working on that one. He keeps lunging at things that are not sturdy enough to actually pull up on.
pomegranate / 3706 posts
16.5 months and working on more words (she has about 30), and using them in context, a few 2 word phrases, counting and recognizing colors. I didn't intend to start the latter 2 yet, but she just started saying the colors and numbers after playing some games that said them- so we went with it!
