He just started crawling this week. Now he is trying to stand unassisted. Yikes!

Talking. She has conversations but its in baby language. I like to babble back to her like we are having a conversation.

Crawling... maybe. DS is interested, DD could absolutely care less about moving. Other than that, they're working on feeding themselves finger foods, so choosing appropriate mouthfuls are also something they're working on.

Crawling! She's got the arm part and the leg part separately, but hasn't figured out how to put them together. So she either pushes with her legs while flailing her arms, or pushes backwards with her arms while thumping her feet against the ground. Either way she's MAD. Poor thing.

Lala (3) is working hard as a beginner reader/writer. M. (18 months) is rapidly increasing her vocabulary with a new word or two every day. I can tell she's getting really frustrated when she can almost tell us what she wants, but not quite.

Movement! He's almost a year and still not crawling, but all the sudden the last few days he seems very interested in getting himself up and going. He still has a long way to go, but it's the first time I can say he's really making an effort - was completely uninterested prior. Maybe he saw the number for early intervention on the counter.

Also pointing. He does this funny point/gesture with his whole hand, then brings his hand down and looks at it until he gets his pointer out, then tries again. It's so funny.
