I've never seen I am Sam, but I won't watch the end of the Notebook anymore. It is just too sad.
I cry during most movies. I remember the scene in Return to Me (where David Duchovny's character is trying to tell his dog that his wife wont be coming home) made me cry like a baby when I first saw it.

I'm a big cry baby when it comes to movies. Anything where someone sacrifices in order to save a loved one gets me every time. I cried when Nemo's mom died in Finding Nemo.

@autumnlove: yep! like when they're walking in the cemetery and Sally Field starts yelling about how she's supposed to go first? I know it's coming, I've seen it a million times and I'm still a MESS when that happens, haha

@rachiecakes: @Smurfette: I DVRed a new version of it on Lifetime a few weeks ago but I haven't watched it yet. I think Queen Latifah and Phylicia Rashad are in it!

@Alivoo01: I know me too! That's why i stop the movie like 10 minutes before the end and I replace it with "And they all lived happily ever after.....forever!!!!"

@AutumnLove - ABSOLUTELY I was thinking this when I saw the thread. Steel Magnolias never fails to make me cry!
Everything makes me cry though. EVERYTHING haha

The Notebook, the newest Star Trek (the one by JJ Abrams..seriously, the first 10 minutes has me bawling), Toy Story 3 (the scene in the incinerator? oh my god...), and the first 10 or so minutes of Up.
Other movies randomly, too, but I can always count on those 4 to produce tears.

I cry at pretty much everything! I remember being like 6 and watching the Carebears with some penguins and that is the first time a movie or show made me cry.
Toy Story 3 KILLED me, I blame pregnancy, but I came out of the movie looking all red and blotchy and still sniffling.

Dumbo. When the mama elephant reaches her trunk over the basically jail-cell bars to reach Dumbo and sings "baby of mine"
;'( Just thinking about it makes me cry
Also, I second Mrs.Bee's mention of when Tom Hanks loses Wilson. That made me bawl in the theater.

Beaches, Dumbo, The Land Before Time, Stepmom, Toy Story 3...so many. I cry at movies/TV shows very easily.

First movie I ever cried at as a kid was Lion King, when Mufasa dies. And I still always cry when I see it as a Broadway show too!

Man on Fire!!! The Curious Case of Benjamin Button... Even DH was crying-we swore we will never watch it again!! Life as a House. The Notebook.

The first movies that popped into my head when I read this were The Lion King, and Armageddon (hah, so random). I've purposely never seen P.S. I Love You or Marley & Me for this exact reason.

Temple Grandin (such a beautiful and inspiring story)
Up - the first 10 min and then when he finds the adventure book with her note. We actually have an Adventure Book that was used as our guestbook at our wedding.
50/50 - the part when he is about to go into surgery and just breaks down with his parents
The Joy Luck Club - I can't watch this movie, it hits too close to home and the relationships and scenes btwn some of the mothers and their daughters is just too much for me - I watched it with my mom the first time around and we both just cried and hugged each other at the end.

@autumnlove: i'm with you and the others--steel magnolias gets me every time.
@MK0180: the first time i watched the joy luck club, i don't think i had ever cried so hard at a movie. i caught part of it on tv a few months ago and i cried again.

I cry a lot during:
P.S. I love you
The Notebook
Marley and Me
Castaway
Titanic
Those are the ones that usually leave me ugly-sobbing.

The beginning of Up made me start bawling so bad I had to stop the movie and take a break!

P.s. I love you and the notebook I cry a lot! Others are my girl, marley and me, my sisters keeper, pretty woman there are tons! I first remember crying while watching the fox and the hound!

I cry in a LOT of movies, but the one that takes the cake is Hachi: A Dog's Tale.
Omg, massive sobbing ensues every single time I watch it! The other day I saw on the channel guide as I was flipping around and I stopped to watch a few mins. But then DH told me not to watch because it makes me bawl. And then I started getting teary eyed just THINKING about the movie and had to change the channel.

SO many - but the one that always comes to mind is Stepmom. The ending scenes always bring out my ugly cry face. And yes, I avoided watching Up for a long time knowing how many other people cried watching it. Ugh - they were so right. Also Finding Nemo.

@sweetchic: omg i want to see that movie but i can't because i know i will lose it!
