I've used all the same stuff for years now. I just buy refills. Most common two refills are foundation and mascara.... I think the last time I bought either was 2-3 months ago.

You know what's interesting (well, not really), I rarely re-buy the same product. Like, I'm so inexperienced with makeup that I don't have any loyalty to any particular product. If I run out of something, I go out and buy something new just to try it out. I think the ONLY thing I would re-purchase is my Estee Lauder BB Cream.

I just bought Lash Blast mascara on a blogger recommendation, and I think I'll go back to my Benefit Bad Gal. Lash Blast just can't compete. It clumps so badly, no matter how much I comb my lashes.

@Rubies: I've been loyal only to my mascara until last week. Everything else, I bounce around on.

@Rubies: I think the only thing I buy consistently is foundation/concealer (Bare Minerals) and I'm quite the beauty junkie! I do to through phases where I use the same products for a few "refills" and then switch to something else when wooed by good marketing/reviews
The last beauty item I bought was Bobbi Brown Extreme Party Mascara -- ah.maze.ing. It's really like a party on my eyelashes. Highly recommend.

Mascara. My tubes were dry and starting to clump. I love the new wand. It's a Maybeline product.
