Leaf blowers, lawn mowers, really loud motorcycles and engine noises have always annoyed me, but now anything loud enough to wake a baby annoys me!

Any high pitched scratching noises. They make me sick to my stomach and I swear I keep hearing them even after they're over.

To add salt to the wound of aggravating he makes over exaggerated smacking & licking noises when he tastes something for the first time. Like he can't "taste" it unless makes as much noise as possible! I swear he didn't do this when we were dating! Gah! lol

Cutting foam.
The sounds the cotton at the top of a Tylenol bottle makes when you take it out. -
I really hate forks scraping against a plate! And sometimes when my husband snacks on peanuts it's obnoxiously loud

Smacking sounds when eating.
Snorting snot when someone has a cold.
That weird sucking/squishing sound when mixing certain foods, like mac and cheese.
Nail biting -
The sound DH makes when he clears his throat. He's mostly just hacking up phlegm. It's like HAWWKKKKKKWUUUP. So gross! He keeps telling me it's necessary and I'm like NO IT IS NOT.

Loogie hacking, banshee screams in my ear anytime after midnight, and the sound of my husband kissing the dog/the dog licking anything. I had a lot of auditory aversions when I was pregnant and they are showing no signs of letting up.

When people don't turn off the type noise on their phone, and they are texting in public. . When I was at my RE's the other day for my first scan, and was a nervous wreck, this lady next to us was texting away (at 7:30am mind you) on her Iphone and I could hear each and every click! It took all the strength I had not to leap over my DH, grab her phone and throw it across the room. I tried to give her the benefit of the doubt, like maybe she was stressed too. She must have got my vibe after a while though b/c she turned off the clicking.

@pui: i think that's my sound aversion too - high pitched scratching/scraping. Like I hate hearing an electrical saw or other tool cutting metal. There are some sounds at the dentist office like kind of sound similar. Also, for some reason I cannot stand the sound of utensils or other metal objects scraping in a metal sink - like if someone has a stainless steel sink and is repeatedly moving the metal utensils around...that is the worst to me. This is why I kind of wanted a porcelain sink

People who cut their nails with clippers in the office (Go to the bathroom...and I am pretty blunt about making that clear!)
Adults who chew their food like they're cows
Bouncing tennis balls in the office (trend in the office environment...)
Loud large loogie sniffing instead of just going to blow their nose in their office/bathroom.

LEAF BLOWERS (like my post yesterday)!! It's actually illegal to use leaf blowers in my city, but no one follows that rule which makes me extra angry. I reminded many gardeners but they totally disregarded me

Fork scratches on a bowl or plate. I used to think I could never have kids because that sound really does cripple me. I monitor my kids' fork usage like a hawk.

Beeping. The microwave. Copier. Oven. Car. Trucks in reverse. I. Hate. Beeping. I'm always the first to the copier whether I'm making copies or not. I'll fix it just to stop the stupid beeping.

My number one most hated noise is..........please don't laugh at me..........cotton balls! Like that noise/feeling they make when you squeeze them. YUCK! I don't even have any in my house, I refuse to touch them!!!
I also really despise loud breathers.....

Chewing and mouth noises blechhhhh!! They drive me insane. I have to have the tv on when DH & I eat to hide some of the noise. That will have to stop when LO gets here! Also, when people lick their fingers, and sniffing/ snot. Yuck
