Are your little ones in right now that you love? Loathe?
DD1 (2y8m): I haaaate the whining. But loving the chit chat, even though she doesn't take a breath. The stuff she asks and comes up with kills me.
DD2 (4.5m) : I love the belly laughing! She doesn't have an annoying phase quite yet.

Love: she is SO sweet. Gives great hugs and actually (usually) stops when I tell her no (although sometimes she cries because she hates when she can't do something). Isn't purposefully difficult yet. And she's really loving the "I'm going to get you" game right now. She just runs and runs until she falls over in a heap of giggles. The best.
Loathe: Throwing food. STOP THROWING FOOD.

2y7m. OMG the WHINING. He does this whiny cry that is like nails on a chalkboard. It is the WORST!
But he is also telling jokes, talking a ton, and coming up with new games and conversations every day. That is awesome.

LO1 (26 months): Love the language. He wants to chat all the time, he's so friendly to everyone, and he is just thrilled to the tips of his toes as he learns more words and can communicate what he wants. Also, the sweetness - so many hugs and smooches, so many "I love you"s. Also, the budding independence. This is my favorite age by far. Two year olds are my jam. I could do without the limit testing, but that isn't awful. I don't currently loathe anything.
LO2 (4.5 months): STTN. And smiles, and laughs, and getting better at head control... but really, STTN just makes everything 1000% better. I am a great mom with rest, pretty lackluster one without it 
Loathe: the spit up. For the love of God, make it stop. All day errday everywhere. It's horrendous.

@Mae: LO1 threw his cup at every meal for probably 4 or 5 months, and nothing I said or did stopped it. I was about to lose my damn mind. Good times!

Love: She is still so sweet and needs mommy's hugs and kisses. My voice can calm her down instantly when she is upset.
Loathe: Super picky eater, spits out her food, so whiny lately, selective hearing in full force!

36 months - love the personality, perception, understanding of feelings and general hilarity. Dislike extreme crankiness from giving up the nap.
6 months - love how smiley and giggly he I sand how intrigued he is by everything. Hate continued night wakings.

Love: we can have real conversations and she is started to have her own little sense of humor.
Loathe: tantrums can be epic. She is also a little rough with her baby sister when she is jealous.

Love: she is such a mellow baby. So sweet and smiley. I don't loathe anything about her but i wish she would sttn on her own!!
