i am a droid user (verizon), and i'm due for an upgrade. my one gripe with my current razr is i find it wide for my small hands - it is very hard to hold the phone and type one handed.
I'm partial to android because of google play, but i love the size of the iphone...so any phone recs? tell me why you love your phone!

I have an iPhone through work so I've never had a choice but I do think they are super easy to use and you can FaceTime with them

If you like Androids I wouldn't switch; I only keep using Iphones b/c I'm too lazy to switch to a new platform!

I have an iPhone Mainly bc the camera is amazing, way better than DHs galaxy. The camera is super important bc intake tons of photos of Lo!

@hilsy85: agreed. I switched because everyone was raving about the s4 picture quality. It's shit compared to iPhone. I can't wait to switch back.

I had an android but now have an iPhone, honestly I'm not tech savvy enough to be a good source but I haven't had any issues with my phone as of yet so I guess that's good

@Pirouette: I love my s4 but I admit the camera is not as clear as it should be. My sister has the LG G2 and not only is the camera absolutely amazing (better than iPhone, she had that before this phone), it is an overall awesome phone with not enough hype. Great battery life, too.

I started with android and switched to iPhone, and will never go back! Mainly because of pictures. The android phones tout picture clarity, resolution, etc, but who cares if the shutter speed is crap? I think iPhones have the best shutter speed, which is incredibly important when trying to snap pics of the LO's. It also has the most apps!
I do think androids have better interface though. It just depends on what your priorities are when it comes to phones. Pictures are everything to me.

@Mrs.Panda: hmm I'll look into that, never heard of it! Do you find the s4 bulky? Other than the camera is it good?
I feel look like I'm actually pretty good about using my actual camera for pics, maybe because I'm used to having a crappy camera haha. I just don't know if I'm willing to become an iPhone user just for the camera!

I had an iPhone and switched to a Galaxy S4 a while ago. I like the galaxy more for everything EXCEPT taking pictures. My iPhone definitely took better pictures.
ETA: the picture quality is definitely not low enough for me to switch back to iPhone. They still turn out really nice.

I like my iPhone but mostly because it's what most of my family/Friends have so it makes iMessage , FaceTime and sharing photos on iCloud photo stream really easy .

I really like my S4, but I don't have anything else to compare it to! I just convinced my husband to get the same phone as me--we're late to the smart phone world. I think it takes good pictures, too.
The only time the S4 feels big is if I've been talking for awhile. My hand gets tired. But I'm not a big phone talker, so it works for me! I also like that it's easy to find in my big purses.
I saw that out BestBuy has a Saturday class on the Samsung phones. I might go--you can really personalize the S4 and I feel like it can do so much more than what I give it credit for!

@Happygal: thats a pretty good endorsement if you got your husband to get one! Also a good point that I'll prob be carrying a diaper bag more often than I used to, so maybe a bigger phone has advantages.

The Sony Xperia Z1 is very nice. DH almost got that phone, but opted for the Samsung Galaxy S4 in the end.
I personally love the large screens. (I have a Note 3, which is a very big screen) and since I carry it around in my purse the size doesn't bother me. I also use it one handed all the time with no struggles. The big screen is great for watching videos or showing people pictures.

@pui: that's true - and it seems like all the good phones are bigger these days, so I might just have to adjust. I just walk everywhere and it's hard to use a phone with a big screen...though I try not to text or anything while walking (bad habit!) so I guess it's not the end of the world if I need two hands at times.

@Pirouette: I have larger hands so I never find it bulky hut I can see how they might be. Then again, I use my phone primarily for internet, email and texting so I like the bigger display. I would go to a Verizon store and hold the displays to get a feel for them. But yes, otherwise I love this phone! But if you can hold out I know the s5 is coming out later this year!

I love my LG G2 but i wouldnt recommend it for you because it is one of the biggest phones on the market.

@Mrs.Panda: thanks! I should look into when the s5 is coming out - even if I still went with the S4 maybe I could get a sweet deal on it! I tried feeling them in the store yesterday but it's so hard to telk when they are attached with that heavy sensor thing - they are all bulky that way! I think I may go with the galaxy though...it seems like a great phone other than the camera!
